I'd quite like to see Boromir vs Faramir. Even though Boromir was a great warrior I'd be tempted to go for Faramir.

pure strength can't stand alone...faramir could have a good strategy...than again, boromir WASN'T pure strength, when it came to fighting and war, he was quite brilliant...i can't say who would win...if, of course, it's an outright fight...

nice fights . like i said in a earlier post, you can you characters from both the hobbit and the silmarillion as well because, again, just having characters from lotr rarther limits things.

Yet again, just wait for the mods.

I'd quite like to see a fight between Húrin and Túrin. Personally I'd say Húrin.

That would be a tough one.

I'm sure they've had it out before. They are brothers and brothers will fight. They would undoubtedly know each other's moves also so it's hard to say who would have the upper hand. I think it might come down to what they were fighting over.

Faramir is my favorite character so I'm going to be bias and go with him.

Well that might not be so uneven as Frodo has the... oh, never mind...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam Vs. Frodo

Sam hesatates, Frodo doesn't, Frodo wins, fight over.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
(This isn't strickly on topic but it is "any character v. any character")
Vs.

is looking the other way so slugs him (har har har)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aragorn Vs. Boramir

Hmm... Well Aragorn is esencal to the plot while Boramir is not
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theoden Vs. Gandalf

Theoden gets blinded fried and turned into a frog before he gets anyware near Gandalf
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Viking Boramir Vs. Carrot Treebeard (From that semi-animated Lotr movie)

Viking Boramir trys to chop down Carrot Treebeard untill he realises that he's attacking a overly large carrot, Carrot Treebeard clobbers Viking Boramir with his very large head... Feel free to disagree
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saruman Vs. Ugluk (A.K.A. "Ugly)

Ugluk misspronouses his own name and while Saruman is rolling on the floor laughing Ugluk slices Saruman in 2
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thoren Oakenshield Vs. Gimli

On one hand Thoren is... Well Gimli is... I don't realy know...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Too much amrican football"Theranduril (From the hobbit animated movie) Vs. Legolas

Legolas can't reconnice his own father so he shoots him, or maybe a Darth Vader/Luke skywalker situation goes on...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
My sister wanted me to add this:

Balrog Vs. Pippin!

Balrog breaths fire and insenirates Pippin, game over... OR ...Balrog roars, Pippin throws a rock right between the balrogs eyes, the balrog falls off the brige, dispite haveing wings the balrog never learned to fly(Har har har)

how about....Feanor vs. Fingolfin! Place your bets here! elf who fought 7 balrogs singlehandidly and had a strong spirit, or elf who fought Morgoth and wounded him for life 7 times, and was also the strongest of the 3 brothers. only you can decide!

A healthy, fed Gollumn versus the post-Ent draught Merry would be entertaining.
