New riddle:

Bittersweet in song,
Their days have lasted long,
But now the end is near,
Though their parting will be dear.

Very easy.

Currently running riddles:

Nariel: T'was a holiday
In theirs and our lands
The day they stepped forth
Their fate in Man's hands.

Elf Girl: Bittersweet in song,
Their days have lasted long,
But now the end is near,
Though their parting will be dear.

Christiana: Falling softly
snowy feathers,
drops of pearl
Glistening.

Close but no on mine, Christiana. Is yours Galadriel's swan boat?

Nariel, is your's the Last Alliance?

Here's my new riddle:

Foul cloth
From shed of blood
Turned to good
Preserved at last

Doesn't rhyme, alas.

I don't know who to say got my riddle right. You could say Christiana got it right because it was part of Tolkiens works and
it was LOTR, but then again Elf Girl could have got it right with some first edition book but she needed to be more spaciffic. Cassiopeia got it right over all though because I was thinking of the hobbit and Lotr and the Red Book of Westmarch is both combined so I think Cassiopeia got it right. Sorry but I also got confused.

Elf Girl: When somebody slew something, such as when Pippin killed the Nazgul, or Gandalf the Moria-Balrog?
When Ilsidur took up his fathers sword and defeated Sauron?
Or- Ilsidur taking the ring from Sauron into the hands of good?

an unexpected visit
by a friend and his friends
they asked him to go away
he forgot his handkerchiefs
but he brang home gold

Whoa- brain crash- must- get- to- bed- ahhh better..

A question hard,
The stolen gold,
Will save,
Though dear the price would be.
