Hmm. Looks like everyone is still off being busy. Ah well.

The RPG is good at waiting. It does it a lot.

I aten't dead. Or, just not yet, at least. But I'm pretty much useless for role playing until the renovation project is over at the end of the month. So no sooner then October for me too.

*kicks roleplay back into action*

Quote:
Dragonflies are visual hunters and have impressive vision being able to see in colour as well as ultraviolet light and polarised light, which enables them to see reflections of light on water
Because one can't really go on about this stuff while in character but it needed explanation anyway.

Now go on, post!

we back on then?

Good- personally i was on strike until we got a decent natural history post regarding polarised light and UV properties.

I felt, unless something relevant was actually posted, i would take a rain check ...

..and yup ... it's raining

so -since we have the lowdown on the dragonfly's visual capabailities - i feel in my heart able to see past the saddening lack of Dragonfly biology and work towards a post on the pyscho-sexual make up of ya average Seagull...

Tomorrow, Acalewia will enlighten us on the micro-biology and mating habits of the lesser spotted leopard fly...

at which point we will become officially sponsored by the National geographic channel

And then we might be able to afford repairs to the Nal in an actual port and avoid those random deserted islands!

It seems you cant go a league without bumping into one in this game. I didn't know Middle Earth (or where ever we are) had such active seabed volcanos.

well, that's always the original idea - we use the sponsorship money to pull into port ...

...for repairs -

...

Anon: "we have time for a quick one, surely?"

Anon 2: "Aye - but just the one, mind..."

* 5 days and 6 drunken debauched nights, one mermaid-shaped sea-cone, 17 brawls and 2 fires later, the crew sail out of port looking for some loot to mend the NAL*

Except when we do enter a legitimate harbour, we tend to have to leave rather quickly. A pirate's life is a hard life....

But made easier if you have the funds to bribe the port authorities... in theory. BB's version was pretty accurate as to practice.

well, although i have been largely absent for long periods, i had this some time back ... and to my knowledge nothing was ever done or even publically noted.

But yes, XK ... i noticed it again the last 2 days, myself - the moot has been down.

But i guess nowt will be done again, nor even any mention by the Mods etc that this issue has even happened for the European mooters, let alone any explanation ...

best, BB
