You guys, when do us wraiths get to go bother the poor hobbits and Breelanders, in conjunction with what happens in the book?

HAHAHA!!!

I trust TD has plans for you again, Lotesse!

My advice, let's move on quickly to September 15, Celebrant field, meeting with the Mouth of Sauron. He will bring word from our MASSSTER and send us to Isengard.

Why does Khamul feel like always screwing with Viv, what's his problem? Let him pick on someone else now, for a change, or Viv will REALLY let him have it, and it won't be pretty.

I don't know why, but it just never occurred to me that Khamul might have a crush on Viv! I really hadn't thought of that. Hmmm...

Oh! TD, I was hoping to catch you while you were still online - I made that alteration you asked for, at the end of post #246 in our story. Hope it suffices. How come nobody's posting in Fellowship lately, anyway? Everyone's all hung up on the new Nazgul rpg, no doubt. I KNEW that was going to happen. Ah, well, guess I'll just have to be patient.

Our problem, Lotesse, is that we have reached the point where a serious post is needed, describing our meeting with the Mouth of Sau and how he sent us to Isengard. I hope Gor will post it...but she has disappeared. Perhaps you could, Lotesse?

Well, I would, but I'm afraid Gordis has more knowledge on that meeting than I do. I'm confident she'll return; she IS still around, I know. I'm not as well-versed in the true history of the dark side like she is. I'll try and read up on it, and if she's not back within the next few days, I'll attempt a post on the Mouth meeting et al. It's time for me to post something soon, anyway. Gordis, PLEEEEase come back soon....

I am around, but VERY busy, unfortunately. If you post on the meeting with the Mouth, I will be delighted

Please, do!

Quote from the "Unfinished Tales"
Quote:
At length they returned; but the summer was now far waned, and the wrath and fear of Sauron was mounting. When they came back to the Wold September had come; and there they met messengers from Barad-dûr conveying threats from their Master that filled even the Morgul-lord with dismay. For Sauron had now learned of the words of prophecy heard in Gondor, and the going forth of Boromir, of Saruman's deeds, and the capture of Gandalf. From these things he concluded indeed that neither Saruman nor any other of the Wise had possession yet of the Ring, but that Saruman at least knew where it might be hidden. Speed alone would now serve, and secrecy must be abandoned.
The Ringwraiths therefore were ordered to go straight to Isengard. They rode then through Rohan in haste, and the ter¬ror of their passing was so great that many folk fled from the land, and went wildly away north and west, believing that war out of the East was coming on the heels of the black horses.
I hope it is all the info we need, before we reach Isengard!!!

Thanks very much, Gordis, and yes, I'll put up a post later on today. I wish I had a copy of Unfinished Tales - note to self: Buy that book next time at Barnes&Noble...

Yes, Lotesse, buy it, it is really worth the money!
I read it this year for the first time and it made me obsessed with Tolkien, not the LOTR itself.. It is my fav. Tolkien book now.

OOC: Lotesse, could you, perhaps, post in the Nazgul-Kings-whatever thread about the fight in the Rotting Cod, how R&G (Val's friends) rescued poor innocent Lilly looking for her missing brother? PLEASE!!!

Thanx 4 the story-post, TD! Our poor Fellowship's suffering the neglect I knew it would, because everybody's into "Nazguls etcetera" now. I STILL don't know what to post here in Fellowship; Gordis gave me info to work with but I'm still stumped.

I am really sorry, Lotesse and TD. I am heaped with work and all I can do for now is to post in the new game. Actually I can't afford even that. but the temptation is too great.
No, I will not abandon our fellowship. I will let the other RPG start properly and then I am back. Where is LCOU, by the way?
