Why is Doriath destroyed? That is, who does it and what is their reason?

firstly the dwarves take a bash to regain the nauglamir
secondly two of feanors sons (celegorm and caranthir?) do it for the silmaril

It was destroyed by the Dwarves of Nogrod, for the Nauglamir that held the Silmaril. LCoU is right too. He beat me to it.

Basically of despair. She just couldn't take it anymore, so she laid down on her children's grave and died.

Probably a combination of old age and grief and she died when the sun went down.
