How about this:

My name is Elemmire, and I am addicted to Entmoot.

In... um... 5? days, I have a total of 180+ posts, have created a new AIM account just for Entmoot, and have already had my name shorten on at least one occasion to Mire.

Of course, other Mooters have given me other nicknames, such as Amarie and Ungoliant...

You still ain't up to my form when I was an entmoot addict... I was posting 50 posts per DAY. I'm like the reason all the mods have 60,000+ posts.

I had 60 posts per day.

But that was for a VERY short while. I'm pretty surprised you guys didn't crack it at me or anything, but then I suppose the board was overrun by other 'fangirls' at that stage anyway.

Pretend. That's the key word. I've sometimes got the oddest desire to introduce the object of my obsession like this:

~I love Elves - especially one noble, golden hair elf who is the son of a king, has befriended at least one dwarf, is friends with a human who is in love with an Elvish princess, and goes on at least one very important quest...

um... you're reading this, SGH, aren't you?

And then I have the even worse desire to say that to someone who hates Legolas-fangirls, just so afterwards I can be like, "What are you talking about? I'm not obsessed with Legolas..."

You know, on my last account I was mostly addicted. Not too much. Just a couple posts a day. I would splurge on weekends and post about one hundered times or so.

Eventually I had to much to do and I stopped.

I felt, really really guilty, like I was letting all of you down.

So now I'm back and proud to be an addict.
