About the Holy Wine Quest - Page 21

Hey. So we're almost done now. I reckon what we need to do is decide firstly about a new order in the crew, and then in our new game we're going to need some more players. So we should probably create a new thread and ask if anyone wants to play a part? And then in the beginning of the new one we can dock at the next island for repairs and go recruit some people.

that might be helpful to give some general sailing knowledge (though this particular page isn't specific to a tall ship like ours)...not that I claim to have much myself! But I want helmsmen and other crew on the next quest if at all possible. Anyway, must be off!

We'll need a new second mate then too probably, maybe Sicirus is fit for it? She's been a long-time member of the Quest.

Garina is (sadly) definitively lost. Katt may pop up once in while. Haven't seen Indril (Luthien) in ages, her last post here dates back half a year. I dunno about Finrod.

YAY, I get a promotion too. Our new crewmember is a little busy at the moment but she will turn up soon. I will give her the link to this thread and see if she wants to apply for a possesion.

Too bad so many people are lost. Now whatever happened to Beardofpants?

Okay. We will need: Captain (me), First Mate (Eärniel), Second Mate, Navigator (Eärniel), Trimmers (2 or 3) (controlling the sails shapes), Quarter master, Master at Arms, Cook, Deckhands, (3 or 4) Helmsman (or woman), boatswain, Nippers (2: to weigh anchor). That would be very nice.

The Nal is a Brigantine, so we do need quite a few people. Those we have left would struggle to control the ship, if they could move it at all. I think people should apply for positions with a character profile and then Eärniel and I can dish out the positions. If people have a preference then they can say so. AND, old crew get first picks.

So, yes Eärniel you get a promotion

Sicirus, would you like to be second mate? Anything else? And anyone else here can request. I can post a new applicant thread in a while. Eventually when I get roun to posting that last post again.

...um, yeah, I will be a part of the quest, but for the first part, I'll be one of Ma-er Willows- characters, but then I will indeed fill one of those postitions. Quarter master if you wish.

I think my last post pretty much concluded this part of the Quest. Unless somebody else still has some unfinished business I think we can start up a new discussion thread for a the next installment so we can get new crewmembers in. Everyone still with us?
