ic: Cyrell was troubled by Losillewen's last words to him. As it stood, yes, she might be able to overhear his thoughts, not to mention any thought messages between Cyrell and one of his friends. And Losillewen overhearing their thought messages could be very, very dangerous. There was one thing, and one alone, that the fox could do to prevent Losillewen -- or anyone else for that matter -- from eavesdropping: he could link his mind to Primrose. It was incredibly dangerous, but it was not as dangerous as having malicious ones overhear them. Yet simply linking his mind to Primrose ... well, he would not do that to the hobbit or to himself; it would be too dangerous. He would link his own mind with Primrose and another four-legger, and Primrose's mind to his and that of another two-legger. The other beings should obviously be friends of each other's, and friends of Primrose and Cyrell. His first thought on this was to find Lubyla and Merry ... but no, the elf would not be a good choice. Then it hit him: Merry and Fran, of course! And so, not knowing the trouble it would later cause, the fox Cyrell prepared to create a network of minds that no one could ever eavesdrop upon.

Andodulin, why are they always after US?? It seems it would be easier to just go back to the stars from whence we came. I wish to do so every time, but something always seems wrong about it.

Do not speek like that. You know why it does not feel right, it would be the easy way out, the way they want you to go, they want US to go.
