I didn't get almost everything of the sentence in the previous post. All I assumed was taht you said: I don't understand French too. Or something like that.

I said I also don't understand French too well, but I'm learning & I can almost swear / curse fluently in it, so one of these days I'll sound like a drunken French sailor

I think 2 things are essential in a foreign country when you are getting crusty with the locals - knowing the drinking games (see my sig for a few fun ones - their British, but still fun) and knowing how to curse when you lose at those
