There are worse things than death. I think the better question here would be: could you kill someone. There are instances of justifiable homocide. Self-defense, etc. If someone came into your house uninvited, with the intent of doing you and your family bodily harm, could you kill them? I could, and would without a second thought. Would I Kill someone out of anger and or hatred? No. I can't recall ever sitting and pondering taking the life of another, although I have in anger wished anothers death, but not by my own hand, and after the anger passed, the death wish passed as well.

We could go into great depth with this topic. Is killing justified in war? Well, yes and no.

What about killing by law enforcement? Again, yes and no.

Capital punishment? Yes and no.

When is killing justified? When is it a crime?

There are people I've wanted to kill. Most of the time I thought they wholly deserved it, the pain anyway. But most of the time I figure, is this person really worth going to juevy til I'm eighteen and then prison for the rest of my life? I dunno. Maybe adults have a different perspective because they've lived but I'm only 13 and I wouldn't want to throw away the life I have before me just for a few moments of pleasure in the defeat of others.

LONG LIVE THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE WEE SCARVIES!

you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest
we arrived in december and london was cold
so we stayed in thebars
along charing cross road
we never saw nothin' but brass taps and oak
kept a shine on the bar
with the sleeves of our coats
-chorus-
euston station the train journey north
in the buffet car we lurched back and forth
past odd crooked dykes
through yorkshire's green fields
we were flung into dance
as the train jigged and reeled
you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest
take me home....
by the light of the moon she'd drift through the streets
a rare old perfume so seductive and sweet
she'd tease us and flirt as the pubs all closed down
then walk us on home and deny us a round
-chorus-
the gas heater's empty, it's damp as a tomb
and the spirits we drank are not ghosts in the room
i'm knackered again, come on sleep take me soon
and don't lift up my head
'till the the twelve bells at noon
you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best
i've been gone for a month
i've been drunk since i left
there so-called vacations
will soon be my death
i'm so sick from teh drink
i need home for a rest
take me home....

Have I ever thought about killing someone?

Yes. But the guy is still in jail.

Would I be able to actually kill him?

I have no idea, it's not a situation I've been in before.

Will I actually try to kill someone?

Probably not but I will terrorise a certain someone to the extent that he'll never leave his own house.

Is asking yourself questions and then answering them a sign of madness?

Yes.

There are half a dozen threads that mention capital punishment. They can be entertaining reading.

Here's one http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/show...tal+punishment

Should we assume then that you are regularly writhing to escape the grips of the tormenting pain threatening to disembowel you?
