My family is catholic, but maybe I am a little Pagan. Most of all, I believe in myself.
My parents are from Belgium, so I am too.

My mom did her side of the geneology and it's REALLY interesting. In fact the O'Roarks used to have a castle and stuff and we're somewhere along the line linked to royalty.but not english.
My great aunt did the family geneology. It's really confusing. Do you have any Whitney's in your family tree? I think I've heard the name O'Roark mentioned. I dont know. It's a looong story because people have been adopted and stuff. All I know is that I'm related to most of the population in Salt Lake City in some way or t'other, BIG family get together.
Cheers,
Sam

Being a heathen or a pagan just means you don't believe in the Jewish/Christian God of the Bible. It could mean you are any other religion.

I'm pretty sure Muslims are considered heathen too (no offense to anyone) because they don't really believe in the same God.

The modern interpretation of heathen as a non-believer is wrong.

Heathen means simply "one who worships on the heather" ironic really as Jesus preached from hilltops, in the streets etc That a term for someone who worships outdoors became a derogatory terms as church buildings became the norm

A pagan can certainly beleive in the Hebrew/Christian God ..... he/she has decided not to worship him. A person who only believes in one pantheon of Gods/Goddesses and no other is a Neo-Pagan.

Ach! Your dictionary is a heathen

That is, of course, the context in which the word is, mostly, taken these days.

We'll be shouting Infidel at the camel riders next

I'm a Christian. I'm a white American female. My grandpa came from Ireland, and other than that, I'm a melting pot, and my last name came from France.

I am Wiccan.

I live in West Virginia and as far as I'm concerned that's where my family originated from. Somewhere, way back a couple or few hundred years ago, both sides of my family were in Scotland though, which is, I guess, what you were asking for.

I'm also a Wiccan. My dad's English (but has lived in Australia for more than 20 years now) and my mum's Australian.

I might be wrong but i don't think there's any Whitney's. There's Kirkpatricks and Everharts and i think Smiths and a whole bunch others but i don't think there's Whitney's.
