I loved ALL the costumes, I thought they all were great! Except...what was with the stuff Legolas was wearing in Lothlorien? I mean, it looked good, but why was he wearing it? There really was no purpose there, and it seemed rather out of place. But anyway...on the Saruman of many colors subject...how about Saruman in tie-dye? lol that's probably what it would end up looking like, if they tried to do it...

Eh, I hate prom dresses. Maybe I'll wear hobbit-gear to prom (if I go). So much nicer, and much more original! Not to mention comfortable.

Mine is going to be more like elvish gear...hehe.

A lot of the prom dresses ARE ugly...I want a(n) historical medieval 'gown' with bell sleeves and a neat-o circlet. I've already found exactly what I want, I just have to wait until next year (when I'm a junior)

Yeah, ditto. I hate the ones with the square bodices or whatever . . . and the strapless ones. They're just plain UGLY! Who wants to wear that? I'd take a hobbit maid's dress or Galadriel's robe any day.

Scroll to the dress at the bottom...that's what I want, and the headdress.

It is indeed a very nice dress, Starr Polish. Hopefully you will get it. Wow, my senior prom is coming up. . .if I could I would wear a something like that aforementioned Legolas-in-Lothlorien costume. . .but I just know someone's going to make me wear a dress. Grrr.

Go to "explore middle-earth" then go to "cultures" at the top of the map. Select "Elves", and you'll see a picture of Arwen. That is my absolute favorite outfit of the film. I really wish I had a replication of this. Does anyone know where I could get one?

I loved all of the costumes, especially the elves'. I agree with you, Starr Polish and eowyn144. I'd like Galadriel's dress for a wedding dress.

Cool dresses all round!
I wish there were fancy do's like proms in Britain, we are so boring. The best you get is a school disco!
Love the headdress, (& the dress)
Ditto Eowyn, would also like Galadriel's dress as a wedding dress. Little less lace, though.

Sometimes sixth-formers get 'end-of-school-dances', but that is it!

These school discos come around once a term and are the kind where there are boys on one side and girls on the other, and if you walk along the boys side, there will always be at least 1 (usually three or four) who shout "wanna go out with me???" and we just walk on, because they are just soooo sad (and are usually dressed in Hawaiin (sp?) shirts!!! Scary bananas!
You don't have to have dates and there is an infamous dance called Snowball which is guaranteed (if you don't have a boyfriend) to make you feel totally like a lemon.

If only there were proms it would be an excuse to have a really good shopping trip to London and get a nice dress (poss with square bodice (joking))!

I like the style of the Medieval Maiden gown, but I don't really like the color. It's beautiful, though. I love the headdress. I hope you get it too.
