Come on, Ms. Archaeologist! What about the primitive hobbits - before they had spades? They would've dug with their hands, right? Meaning round holes. After that, it just became tradition.

Now, having dug both square and round holes, it is considerably easier to dig square ones, that is with a spade...
That's because you NEED most of the time to have square holes in an archeological dig. I now can say it's rather remarkable how all you archeologists tend to get violent the moment your theory is questioned *eyes very own archeo-sister across the room to make sure she doesn't read post over my shoulder* You archeologistlot have been around primitive things too much.

BOP,

I have suspicions that you are not Dalek, but Borg. Your recent tirades against round shapes betrays this fact.

You shall not trick me you...you...ASSIMILATOR!

BoP a borg? Aaaaaah RUN! HIDE!! resistance is NOT futile! *hides in a 'round' hole in the ground*

P.S. Psssst, Arathorn, now that I think of it. In 'First Contact' and Voyager the borg queens do have some round and spherelike vessels.

*runs to look for Data's list of recursive puzzles to use on BorgofPants* Keep your assimilation tubules away from me!

*narrowly misses rightangled, equal-sided-bottomed, triangulary solid shape*

Hmmm...
B= 2
E= 5
A= 1
R=18
D= 4
------
30

P=16
A= 1
N=14
T=20
S=19
------
70

This suggests your name is actually 30 of 70
and your high average post count was the clincher! Admit it!

*wonders if 30 of 70 has a body rivaling 7 of 9 under that dalek suit...*

See? This is why I love Entmoot. We get off on all kinds of tangents. I don't watch Star Trek, so I have no clue what a dalek is, but I have heard of a borg before. Whatever a dalek is, I'm sure BeardofPants is one.

You've NEVER heard of Dr Who??? C'mon, America did a new version of it in '98 (?), with Paul Gann. It's a British Serial SciFi that ran from the '60s to the '80s, with Tom Baker being the most famous, and long running Doctor. He time travelled in the Tardis, and stuff, and there were Daleks, and Cybermen, and Zygons.... ??

You've never heard of it?? Tom Baker, he had big curly brown hair, and big goofy smile, and long scarf, and a felt hat? And the Tardis, was a blue english policebox???

Nope. Sorry. I've been under a rock on Mars with my eyes closed and my fingers in my ears for the past 5 years. I came out to see FotR, but that's about it.

Is your avatar from Dr. Who? I did a search and saw something that looked like that on one of the pages.
