just got a call from my girlfriend - she said, 'you know what i'm in the mood for?'

'a piece of strawberry cheesecake?', said i.

'nope!', says she, 'i need to see FOTR again!!'

so, tomorrow, since we're both off work - back to the magic of the cinema.

it'll be my 8th viewing, and i plan to see it again on the 29th when the 3-4 minute trailer for the TT will be added to it!!

It has left my theater a long time ago... Check out this thread - http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/show...highlight=west
If it comes back into my theater or it is in a theater when I go see my grandmother over spring break, I will go see it.

Wow! a TTT trailer? Can it be true?!?
If it's out at our cinemas, i'll go! I'm stuck in Melbourne, Australia, so the release date will probably be later, but when it's out, I'm there!!!

I've seen it eight times, and once it is released with the trailer [March 29 from what I have heard] I will go back and see it at least three more times. then when the DVD comes out I'll get that and a DVD player and "boogie til the cows come home".

A moral of the whole (after the primary symbolism of the Ring, as the will to mere power, seeking to make itself objective by physical force and mechanism, and so also inevitably by lies) is the obvious one that without the high and noble the simple and vulgar is utterly mean; and without the simple and ordinary the noble and heroic is meaningless." I have only seen the movie one time.

I'm going to try and see it again though on March 29. So that way I will be able to see what awaits me in the upcoming movie.

Wouldn't it make more sense to use your new DVD player to play your new DVD?

Seems like more fun than boogying til the cows come home.

And if the trailer is out on the 22nd then that's been and gone. Has anyone seen the trailer yet then? Because I'm not sure I'll not go until after the oscars. Hell, might phone the cinema and just ask them if the trailer is in. You never know, they might actually know the answer - stranger things have happened.

From what I've heard, the trailer WAS going to be out on the 22 but they changed it to the 29th, after the Oscars, and it's not JUST the 29th; they're sending out a new reel with the TT trailer on the END of the movie, not during the previews, and then they're going to be a huge push to get the movie hyped again. Like it needs it.

ACtually I think it does - I should imagine it's now showing only at unsuitable times. EG cinema here it's only during the day. Which is impossible for anyone but a slacker like me.

If they push, then hopefully it'll be on in the evenings, and on bigger screens.

What I cant work out is why the 29th? When not the 25th, immediately on the spur of whatever it will win at the Oscars.
I suppose it gives them a few days to work out the exact spin on whatever they win, but it's jolly annoying all the same.

I want it all
I want it all
I want it all
And I want it NOW

Correct me if I'm wrong: I heard the DVD will come out in summer, about August, but that a longer Director's Cut will be out in November. But can't remember where I read it. I plan to wait til November to get it.
I used to love rice pudding and I ate so much of it I got sick of it so I didn't want to look rice in the face again . . .I would hate that to happen with LotR. So it's worth waiting for. (Of course I love it again now . . .)
