I met Josh in November I think. Maybe it was December. I don't remember the exact date.
 Anyway, I met him on a Buffy board. I was "mooning" over this other guy, Gentlemanoz if you really wanted to know his screen name. Oz was on a cruise and Josh came and I thought he was a big dork (lol ). Well when Oz came back I liked Josh and have liked him since . I don't know how to desciribe our "relationship" since it's an internet thing. Well, I know you probably didn't want the long version but that's what you got and that is how I know Darth. So since you and him are friends, hopefully we can get along. -Laura

Celtic), blues, jazz, classical, sixties and early seventies rock...and when I am really wound up, I crank up Motorhead to calm down...but I don't like heavy metal in general.. hobbies: many: reading (obviously), riding my '65 Norton motorcycle (ahh, what a beautiful thing!), building models (military and railroad), researching BC and Canadian industrial history, especially railroad and logging technology ( love those monstrous steam locomotives) stamps and coins (both hobbies have been dormant for some time) Celtic and Northern European myth and lore, natural history, beachcombing, photography, astronomy, philosophy, theology, travel (although I don't get much opportunity these days, I spent my youth on the road with a backpack...some twenty countries all told, including two trips to Guatemala and an extensive journey to Central Asia that lasted two years.) favourite books: LotR, the Gormenghast books by Mervyn Peake, Lilith & Phantastes by George MacDonald, The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, Little, Big by John Crowley. There are many,many more,not all fantasy, but these are the biggies. favourite artists: Tom Thompson, Claude Monet celebrity: well I'm not much into celebrities, but that Liv Tyler gal shurr iz purty.... Ouch..sorry dear... tv shows: I avoided tv like the plague for fifteen years until I got married, I try to stick to the educational stuff, but Frasier is very funny, and I do like Seinfeld, even if it is only reruns, there's many I have not seen. movies: Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Schindlers List, The Godfather series, The Party with Peter Sellers, Star Wars (still! at 38!), The Great Escape. The Fellowship of the Ring is pretty good too (there, finally I admitted it!) heroes: all the boys who fought and died in all the wars for the good things that we enjoy now, and I think David Livingstone and Ernest Shackleton were quite the dudes. There are few role models nowadays worth emulating, but thats my opinion. I think that's enough soul baring for one evening! |
