I know, I'll never understand why tv and movie people do that. You have something that works and has been very successful, but instead of doing more of the same you redo the whole concept and end up ruining it!

Hanna Barbera isn't that good anyway. I mean lookit what they did to The Hobbit and The Return Of The King! They did an ok job with The Hobbit I guess because it's all in brown and earthy hobbity colors(including the green of the fro-I mean elves). But I've seen the back of ROTK and it does NOT appeal to me. Gollum's green and Frodo's nose is huge and it looks like he has road burn acros his face instead of dirt.
But I think that Scooby's eyes are VERY weird lookin'. He looks like a fashion model, NOT what a dog is supposed to look like. From the pictures I have seen it looks like they tried to hard to copy the original scooby look. The clunky shoes and short skirts for the gals and FREAKY bell bottoms for the guys. It doesn't appeal to me at all.

Despite my earlier post, I did go and see the movie (I took my little sister ) It was OK. I enjoyed the Harry Potter trailer. No TTT trailer Some parts were plain embarrasing (Shaggy and Scooby umm, passing wind for example). SMG looked beautiful as usual. That Mr. Bean guy was funny. The most amusing part was who was the evil guy. Wait for the video if you want to see it.

I know it's a little late...

I saw it, it was alright. Nothing like the cartoon, and the plot was kinda dumb. The only person like their real character was Shaggy. Couldn't they have done just a little better with the casting for Daphne??? My uncle(Scooby fanatic) liked it( ). Maybe alright, is the wrong word...

I did like the farting seen though!
