DO YOU GUYS WANT TO HEAR SOMETHING TOTALLY COOL?!

Well then.

My voice teacher showed me how if you imagine your 'column of air' going lower and lower in your body as you sing higher pitches, it makes singing easier. Which is super awesome, exciting, and just rad to the max.

But it also totally works for pennywhistles and recorders. OMG! O_o If you've ever played a pennywhistle or recorder, you know that getting into the second octave can be a trick and that just 'blowing harder' isn't a reliable way of doing it. But when I imagined my air column getting lower, it made the air do the 'fast, spinny' thing you have to get it to do for the second octave of the pennywhistle.

HOW COOL IS THAT?!

GAH.

Want to do well on test tomorrow... yet don't want to study no mo'...

tomorrow is last final... only a little more studying... one more night to push through........ yet don't want to study because it's the last night I have to study. Freedom.... so close.....

I would say I'm suffering from cognitive dissonance, but that's from a final I've already taken.

My family went apartment shopping for my sister today... it was sort of fun. Would've been more fun without the paternal figure. He gets so stressed out by change... he REALLY doesn't want my sister to move out, despite his saying that he's totally fine with it. So the shopping made it real, and he got stressed out and angry because he was trying to boss us all around and everyone (my mother included) ignored him. -_-

I love my dad... he just got so stressed out it clearly wasn't good for him, and it was frustrating for us.

Sooooo my sister asked me to (secretly) go apartment shopping with her next week.

It makes me wanna move out! The first apartment we looked at looked so cozy. I would gladly have moved in there, even though it was the smallest unit we looked at. The second I walked in I could already see where all of my stuff would go... comfy chair in the far left corner with my standing lamp, my desk lamp on the near right corner with a small desk, then the bedroom with room for my books and my bed, and I even knew what curtains I would've put up. And of course my fantasy map collection on the walls.

Someday.

Hehe, sounds like fun, despite towing a stressed out dad around.

*shudder* If that picture were on my wall, I would suddenly feel extremely unsafe in my own house. Especially because it would mean that my husband went bonkers and put up a strange picture of a celebrity...

After all that, I need a cookie...

Well, what kind of maps? I don't have much of a collection, just the map of Cyrodiil and four of Tolkien's maps. It'd be cool to have more. Hm, why don't I just make them?

Well, crap. According to my calendar, I'm apparently supposed to do something this morning. Difficulty: I haven't the slightest idea what it was.

I was just getting ready to say something like that, but you beat me to it.

The thing is, though, Remembralls don't actually tell you what you forgot, only that you forgot something, so maybe it wouldn't be that much help after all...

I hate studying. I can't wait till I graduate and the only thing I'm procrastinating is my chores...

The Winner Takes It All - And Literacy Takes the Fall...

The Irish entry to the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest is an exquisite example of pure poetry and literary excellence. Jedward's Lipstrick sails up as a thorough-bred and an ethereal, contemporary equal of the works of such classic Irish authors as Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett, WB Yeats and James Joyce. I'm truly enraptured by utterly intelligent and intellectually uplifting performance of Jedward. Long may you live in the hearts of the Irish people and conquer the world with your sheer exuberance and enthusiastic dancing.
