You wonder why the Yalta conference went on for so long? Churchill kept insisting on "just one more level", Stalin's mage got turned into green slime and an Iron Curtain descended across Europe...

Hey, I wouldn't complain. If you are an Israeli and get drafted, you now know what to put under Hobbies in your enrolment form.
So really, there was no war. All the world leaders got together and used the world as their D&D world. Some of them, however, couldn't distinguish between reality and fantasy and took it a bit far.

Which brings us to the question, who is the Dungeon Master?

Oh, yeah, can't you see it? Behind the scenes, controlling everything, setting up the encounters and challenges the players have to face? I can totally see Bill Gates controlling international politics for a game.

Actually, you know what? Good call, Gwaimir, I can so picture that!

I just realized I can't tell what BoP's siggy is saying.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to edit that to something that fits in with our board's theme a little better... I'm thinking either, "I luv rainbows!" or "I luv puppies" or even, "Tessar rawks, lawl."

Sorry.... but it's for your own good.

Back on topic, though... geeze. That's just silly...

If you can do it in a high "D" than all well and good!

(CC probably shows muaical ignorance there ... but i'll never admit that!!! )

if not ..you need to roll 5 or above ..( or if BoP is watching ... er... 17 or above ???)

..............

or, to put in a clear topic context, consider the relevance to any future possible career as a Middle eastern Military Entertainer.

Did Mcarthy lose an important die on a wild paranoid swing at that dragon that time in the nether mines that time???

(..we'll never know!! )

best, BB

Maybe he's playing Vampire the Masquerade, in which 6 is enough to qualify as a success in most situations, or Decipher's LOTR RPG, which is played with 6-sided dice.

Yeah, I know too much.
