Interesting. And only one additional letter from "Imladris"...

They must have to be VERY careful of their enunciation when they talk about going to see Elrond.

Anyway... I'm drifting OT here - sorry.

My sword'd be named either Skeeter or Ben.

"Squire! Fetch me Skeeter! Theres slayin' to be done."

"Sir!"

Awesome...

I'd call my sword ...

Zeeky Boogy Doog! After the Zeeky Bomb that says "Zeeky Boogy Doog" and then a nuclear bomb explodes. So that would be a pretty powerful sword!! Of course the name wouldn't be all that intimidating. But it's like saying you don't know anything about Calculus before a big test and the teacher goes easy on the class just because of you, and then sets a minimum curve, and then you break the curve at 100% and everyone's like ... WTF!

It's a good thing we these "lighter" threads as well.

My sword... My knowledge of sindarin is limited, but... Forodrúth, Rage of the North! (right? )

It shall be a longsword.

I shall name it, Nostril.

I would name mine Head Voice, and have a shield named Chest Voice, BECAUSE WHEN USED PROPERLY IT WOULD BE LIKE A SINGLE ENTITY, but used improperly it would be obvious they were two separate parts! Hahahaha.... musical-lameness...

But for reals... I forget, but I think I used to imagine I would have the "Sword of Trees"... and I believe I figured out how that would be said, too... but I can't remember it any more.

Tessar... LOL

Then by that way of thinking, mine would be a swift little short sword named Fioritura

Now i'd just need to translate that into Elvish ...

Strider

Quite truthfully, I'd probably end up naming it "sword", but that's the kind of guy I am!
