(OOC: I was wondering when you were going to get back here, Pip! Thankgoodness you did!)

Tavin stepped back quickly after opening the door. A Fae woman nearly fell in the door as he swung it open. Calyniel gave a slight protest at being backed into so suddenly.

"How," Kirsinari said in halting tones. "am I supposed to trust you if you listen in on privat conversations like this?"

Evelyn scrambled to her feet with as much grace as she could muster which was not alot. She held her head up high and tried to look casual and dignified at the same time. "I am sorry if I gave you reason to think you couldn't trust me, but having someone heedlessly curious and as witty as myself could prove a great advantage." She thought that was a fairly good response, though Kirsinari did catch her in the act of eavesdropping.

At first Calyniel had been startled, and a little affraid whan she realizes she was being eavesdropped on. In her experience, eavesdropping was either done by her, or dangerous to her. She relaxed a little when she saw that it was someone Kirsinari had apparently trusted, but not much. Unless this girl was stupid enough not to realize that what she was just doing was wrong, and could loose everyone's trust of her, or she was not to be trusted at all. But Calyniel had nothing to do with what happened to the fairy, and she just watched, waiting to see what the others decided.

A shadowy form slipped along the darkened corridors, glaring at the scattered guards who remained. The corridors were purposefully cold, to give those weak enough to feel chilled a sense of unease. They smelled musty and cruel, a place for terrible creatures to hide.

Belaparthalion strode purposefully into the throne room of the Amala Daera, and bowed slightly before her imposing figure.

"You have arrived, good," the Amala Daera said coldly.

"What is your wish, your highness?" Belaparthalion asked with his deep, gravelly voice.

"There is a Ranareth that wishes to join the ranks of the Fala Naera," she part the name as if it tasted foul. "This cannot be permitted. If the Ranareth fully ally themselves with the Fala Naera, they will be more difficult to defeat."

"You want me to destroy this Ranareth?" Belaparthalion asked, barely masking his eagerness for the task.

"As swiftly and quietly as possible," the Amala Daera replied. "Be sure you are not discovered. If you are, and you divulge any information about me," she paused, and a cruel smile crossed her face, "you will certianly regret it."

"Very well, your highness," Belaparthalion bowed, and departed to begin his work.

Kirsinari wanted to shake her head and scold like a mother would a troublesome child, but held back as she recognized what the Ranareth woman was after.

Because Evelyn had sought her out like this, Kirsinari took her to have been an elected woman of medium age for her race to have been sent, but the truth was, as she noticed now, that Evelyn was actually rather young. A young woman ready to serve, plunging headfirst to do what she could to aid her people. Though she knew now that she could trust Evelyn to be true to her, she also knew that the Ranareth would have to learn some dicipline.

It was what was to be expected of a fae like herself. It was what gave the Ranareth fae their edge, for, once they found the ability to hold back bouts of curiosity, they had exceptional tactical minds that could procese information and situations very throughly in a moment's notice and a second's glance.

However, Evelyn already seemed to be calling herself witty, though the heedlessly curious part was a good bit. They'd have to be around one another more often to see about the witty part.

"Well," Talwren said, stern faced.

"No," Kirsinari cut him off. "Don't. She just needs a few things spelled out, and then we can trust her."

"Trust someone who'd evesdrop on us like this?" Calyniel raised a brow.

"Yes." Kirsinari surprised them all with a smile. "Yes, indeed, and I do think you can spare a few men and supplys for the Ranareth side of the battles, can you not, Talwren?"

Tavin looked confused for a moment, then answered uncirtently, "Yes, I believe so."

"Good." Kirsinari crossed her arms over her chest. "Now, the night has grown late, and we need to rest for the morning's ride."

"Morning's ride?" Calyniel and Evelyn asked at the same moment, ears perked up.

"Of course." Kirsinari said. "Exrra forces and supplys can be found there, and the main training grounds of Edeme Lium are there as well. Evelyn, you will be able to pick out a section of the forces yourself, as well as recieve a few extra lessons that are required of the soldiers here. Calyniel and I will have more time to find a new team to get into the heart ot the Ice City."

"You are not sending me back?" Calyniel asked.

"No. I need you to teach them the ways of Areanna's court that you have learned so that they can blend in better. The new team needs the advantage you didn't have, precedent."

When Calyniel, Evelyn, and Tavin had left for the night, Kirsinari decided to curle up on the largest of the pillows in the room at the far corner, and extinguished all but the two candles nearist her head while taking hold of the book she'd been writting in for the past month. It contained the records of her dreams that had some sort of meaning. Dreams that warned her of the next day or so. She read through it once a week, scratching out thoes that hadn't meant anything, and making notes of what ahd happened in accordence with the successful ones.

Each night that she asked for guidence from Onem and Defdam, a cirtain kind of dream would visit her, and it was as if she herself were there. Sometimes, they showed her what she would see the next day, other times she would be seeing as if through the eyes of a servant, or some sort of animal near what was happening elsewhere that would affect her somehow. Reading over the last dream she'd had after asking guidence, she recognized the two travelers it had spelled out for her, and the unexpected change of plans.

Noting the names and change, she slid the book under the edge of the cusion agan and hung her neclace, a pewter cross of equal proportions designed as a Telokin knot (OOC: a celtic knot) hung on a spun black wool thred, on the hook abpve her and praied silently:

"I the Fala Naera live to serve Onem, lady of balence, and ask her guidence always. I Kirsinari of Ternata Tehortha thank the Lord Alkeln for the blessings of this day, and ask the Lady Defdam to open my mind tonight to the world awaiting me on the morrow, and thank her for the previous aid. Hail to the three true Malthin, and a good end to the day with a good beginning to the night!"

With that her head hit the pillow and she fell asleep almost instaintaniously.

Somewhere in the early morning hours, her dream turned from watching her children playing in the Kaltolam fields to something less pleasent.

A shadowy form slipped along darkened corridors, glaring at the scattered guards who remained. The corridors were purposefully cold, to give those weak enough to feel a chilled sense of unease. They smelled musty and cruel, a place for terrible creatures to hide. Yet Kirsinari recognized the corredoors to have once been part of the most regel and beautiful works of the Malthin upon Rathlas its self, the halls of the palace in the heart of the City of Ice in the Long Mountains to the East.

The shaddow resolved its self into a large fae, whom she thought could be an Ompatha'in male, and bowed slightly before Areanna herself.

Kirsinari awoke in a cold swet. The sun was still a cupple hours away from showing any sing of it's existence at all, and yet she knew sleep wouldn't find her again tonight. Scrambling for her notebook, she saw a figure in the oposite corner and froze.

The boy was there again. It couldnt' be so! Yet there he and the dog were.

Evelyn grinned widely when she heard Kirsinari talk about trusting her. She cocked an eyebrow at the man and woman and grinned some more. That'll show them, she thought. And here she was, going out the the front lines of the battle! She had a quick mind and was swift to make desicions, though they were always good ones. There had always been something smart and creative about Evelyn, she loved listening to her father and other officers talk about battles and plans for the future. She had been in the service of the Ranareth for about five years now and had been in quite a few battles, though they were reluctant to put her in a higher rank.

And Kirsinari would be sending supplies and help to the Ranareth. Evelyn did not have any personal ties to the tribe anymore, but it was her race and she had grown up among those people whether she decided to run away and chase after her hopes or not.

But now she would be working for Lady Kirsinari, the head of the good forces against Areanna. All her plans were working out perfectly. She did need a little polishing when it came to battle and working with such a big force, but she had a lot of potential for such things. She nodded and bowed slightly to the Lady and this Tavin man.

"Good night, milady." she nearly skipped to her room and lay awake, smiling up at the ceiling.

"Welcome, sir. What's with that plant?" a guard asked the small man whom had just entered the city.
"Thank you. I'm bringing this plant to-uh-the marketplace."
The man walked down a large street, crowded with people.
"This is the marketplace, the largest in the city," said the man, no one present.
"My bones are aching. The next time that malthin does this to us, we'll have to kill him!" said a small voice.
"But you don't have any bones anymore," said another.
"What do you know," replied the first, annoyed, "you don't have a head right now."
"Neither do you," pointed out the second.
"Quiet. You might give us up," the man interrupted.
"Well, we're a little uptight about being turned into a plant. It was your idea, and it was that malthin who did it to us in the first place."

ooc: I'll pick this up from here tomorrow, or later.

Tavin proweled the corredoors and halls late into the night, not careing where he went, as long as he didn't have to go back to sleep again. He only wished for one night of peace.

Defdam or Onem one had been sending him troubbling dreams the past few weeks. He kept seeing Ilena struggling to make it to Kemala after being attacked, but every time he saw this in his dreams she died, only the carrion birds to find her.

Then there was the other dream of a baby whom he felt would be his own, yet he had no relationships with any women. Thoes who wanted him would do better with another, and the one woman he wanted since leaving the West Lands denied him more than common friendship.

Back home, the woman he wanted was concidered out of his status reach, dispite his ancestry, but here he was concidered nearly a Mathin because of it and his place of honor in Ternata Tehortha by Kirsinari's side. He could hear whispers behind him as he walked by people by day. They all said that he and Kirsinari were just keeping their marage secret. They knew he loved her, and that she treated him more like a lover than a comander of her armies. They didn't know that he'd never touched more than her hand to kiss when pledging alliegence to her, or escorting her on public festive occasions.

Kirsinari didn't know why she felt so thretened by this little boy and his dog. All she knew what that they were between her and all the other doors now. Some how, she felt powerless in his presence. Yet, as soon as he had appeared, he'd gone again. Taking her chances, Kirsinari bolted for the door leading to the halls.

She wasn't even looking where she was going, just going there as fast as her night dress would allow. She nearly screamed when she nocked into someone half way down the fourth hall she'd turned down. Backing up into the wall, she hid her face and sobbed, shaking with fear.

"Kiri?" Tavin's voice asked from the man she'd bumped into. She looked up cautiously, and sure enough he was standing ther, looking bewildered at her, slowly walking over to her as if she could attack at any given moment without reason.

Kirsinari collapsed onto the floor and cried openly before him. A split second later, he was at her side, hushing and soothing as if he were hushing a child after a bad dream. In a sence, he was doing just that.

Tavin didn't know what to do at first. He'd always looked to Kirsinari for strength. She never broke down like this. Not ever. The only thing he could think of was to comfort her as best he could, dispite his confusion and not knowing what had happened.

"Kiri," he spoke softly after a moment. "Come on, let's get you back to bed."

"No," she shook her head, regaining some of her previous composure. "No, not back there. Not tonight."

"My rooms?" he asked, a bit hesitently, but she nodded.

"I don't think he'll follow me there."

"By Alklen, Kiri, what are you talking about?" he asked, almost afrade as he looked around as if expecting some one to jump out of the shaddows. "Did some one hurt you?"

"No," she said, a little to quickly. "Let's just go back to your rooms first. We'll talk there."

Tavin's rooms were a bit more common for the area. Kishin crafted oak furniture from the Shaw Tree Woods of Wasim was situated in a was as to include several members in one gathering rather than several small clusters as in Kirsinari's rooms. Rich reddish browns and emerald greens were the main colors. It was a classy comfort, if such a thing could be said about a place only a traveling man occupied.

Kirsinari took a seat at the smoothly crafted table as Tavin quickly grabbed some nuts from the counter and sat them before her while taking a seat. He waited for her to speak, waiting for her to settle down first before pressing her for information.

"There's a boy and a dog that keep comming around lately." she said. "I don't know how they get in or out, but something about them just seems wrong, and I don't like the feal of it. They always block my way. I feal almost as if I have no power whatsoever in their presence."

"An immage sent by Areanna?" he asked. "Onem must keep ballence. Perhaps she's turning the tides again."

"No." Kirsinari shook her head. "Areanna is going her own twisted direction. She's become the compleat oposite of ballence, thus being Onem's enimy as well. Onem wouldn't allow it. Not even Defdam would."

"Can you be so sure? Their will changes rather swiftly these days."

"I'd know!" she snaped. "But you're right. It could be just another intimidation from the Amala Daera."

Calyniel lay awake in her bed for hours before finally falling into a restless sleep. At first she dreamed of Eladda's excecution, as she had expected, and then had nightmares of her own capture and execution. But as the night went on, she began to dream of other things, involving Eladda, Areanna, and a few other Kishin she couldn't identify. When she woke from those dreams, she couldn't help but feel that Eladda was trying to tell her something, something important, but she couldn't think of what it could be. She spent the rest of the night lying awake, unable to go back to sleep, and pondering the meaning of her dreams.

Evelyn woke in the middle of the night and stared up at the ceiling of the room she was staying in. It took her a moment to realize where she was and she was doing there. She smiled again at the thought that her plans for success were unfolding beautifully. Even her stupidity and restless curiousness turned out for the best. She was finding it hard to sleep so she got up and walked around her room a few times. She sat down in one of the chairs and tapped her fingers anxiously against the arms. People had always thought she was jumpy and twitchy, and probably was, but she liked to think she just had a lot of energy. Energy that could be put to good use, she was very good at knife fighting and archery, being fairly accurate when she focused. She wasn't perhaps, as mature as most would like her to be, but that would come with time. And she had plenty of time on her hands now.

Evelyn stared out her window and watched the sun rise slowly, gray light filtering in first, and then the crisp white light that comes with the morning. She heard a cock crow and then the sounds of servants outside, getting to work early. She quickly threw her hair up in a pony tail and wandering around the corridors outside her room, waiting for someone to come and get her to tell her it was time to set off.

"As I was saying," the man said, ignoring the farie's comment, "this is the largest marketplace in the city."
"And what a beautiful city," said the second voice. "I should move here."
"Sorry," said the man. "This isn't exactly the best time for faries to be here. Remember the other night? That Ranareth? Poor sap. Probably still in prison. And she had such a benevolent appearence, too, though perhaps she was a little dull when it comes to manners."
"Oh," the second voice said, thinking. Changing the subject, it said, "Why are we here? We weren't exactly told why we are."
"You two are going to help me catch a spy. I'm going to have to sneak into teh palace somehow. I must speak with Kirsinari."

Tavin would never understand her. One minute, Kiri was so distant and formal with him that he felt shunted to the side, the next, like now, she was so cloce, nearly touchable again, and then she'd pull away once more.

At one time, they'd been clocer, and "item" of sorts, but then it happened. Rucruin, a wisened Kishin man who'd been Kirsinari's advisor for thirty-seven years of unrelenting service and trust, attempted to murder Kirsinari while she was heavy with Tavin's child.

Tavin had been walking back to their rooms when he heard the sounds of power fighting power down the hall. Rucurin was the quickest learner and best preformer of the talents Kirsinari taught her most trusted, and the sounds from down the hall were as if Areanna herself had come and was fighting against Kirsinari.

Rushing into the rooms, he came to see Kirsinari in wolven form batteling Rucruin physically as he hurled violent winds and anything he could get his hands on at her. Not seeing Tavin, Rucruin continued fighting and fell victem to Tavin's blade.

Kirsinari had never slept in the bedchamber since loosing the child. If the maids left the door open, she'd be sure to shut it if left in the room alone. Kirsinari was always looking for a way to sent him away now as well. When he wasn't away, she shunted him to the secondary rooms that he'd origionally occupied.

Yet, now, as he wached the sun rise, he knew that she was comming around to her old self once again. Taking sudden leaps of faith, not minding to show her tears infront of him. Even now she lay cradled in his arms, fast asleep.

Kirsinari awoke to the sounds of birds calling outside her window. Window? She opened her eyes, squinting in the sunlight. Yes, yes there was a window, but surely not hers! No, she didn't enter the bedchamber any longer.

"They've been asking when we're leaving," Tavin's voice floated over to her. "It's almost midmorning."

Remembering now where she was, Kirsinari rolled over to face him where he stood in the doorway with a false smile upon her face. In bed with him was the last place that she'd wanted to end up, but she wasn't going to hurt him further by showing that.

"They're all ready packed?" she asked.

"Just like every one else," he answered, turning back to his...coffie. That was it. He called it coffie, a bitter drink he brewed so darkly that there was no seeing the bottom of a pearly white mug through and hot enough to scald. Yet he drank it just like that, no problems what so ever.

"Who's every one else?" she asked, her tone becomming agitated.

"The three sections of my men goint to Pheraya, like you promised Evelyn."

"But what's all this talk of leaving?" the second voice said. "Why are half of the soldiers packing up?"
"I know. We're going with them."
"But, you're not a soldier," the first voice said.
The man ducked into a small alley, making a guard suspicious, who dived after him.
The man knocked him on the head with a wooden club, which instantly turned into an arm.
"Now I am," he said, taking the guard's keys.
They left the guard, and walked to the doors to the palace. They unlocked the double doors, walked in, and with people watching, the man walked to where the rug ended and the tile began, and dropped the plant he had carried the entire time. It hit the floor, and burst open. The bush began to seperate, and began growing and shifting into a human shape. After about 30 seconds there were two faries standing where the shattered pot was, a little bewildered.
"Is Kiri in today?" the man asked, ignoring the stare from the servants. "It's urgent. I must see her. And don't anyone try something rash. I could tear apart this palace like it was a poor balanced hous of cards. The only difference would be that it would take a few hours."
"An........and what name should I tell her?" asked a bewildered servant, the man asking hesitantly.
"Gorneldor. And my two friends, Anderegiel, the Ranereth, and Khimûriu, the Ompatha'in. Go! Quickly!"
"Yes sir," the man said, again, hesitantly.

Unable to sleep, Calyniel lay awake, thinking. As far as she could tell, Eladda had found a way to contact her in her dreams, and he was aparrently doing this to tell her about something he had discovered before he died... but what?
Finally, she gave up on trying to sleep and got up. She began pacing back and forth across her room, stopping to look out the window for a few seconds befere getting restless and moving again. She felt trapped, helpless, and frustrated. She had the feeling that whatever this dream was about, it was important that someone do something about it, and important that she be that someone, but she didn't know what to do, and needed to understand the dream better to understand her part in what needed to happen.
Finally, she decided that in the morning she'd tell Kirsinari, and offer to go back to find out more.

Well, then, I confess, it is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out!~Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean

When the sun had begun to creep in her window, and over the floor, Calyniel finally dressed, and left her room, looking for Kirsinari. She wandered about for some time, but could not find her. She finally found herself near the door to the palace, and saw a servant walking away from a man and two fairies standing amid a pile of dirt and broken pottery. She caught the servant's attention. "Do you know where I could find Kirsinari? I need to speak with her."
"I was just going to find her myself. Would you rather come with me or wait here?"
"It's rather urgent, I'll come with you."

"Send for me when she's found!" he called. "I'll wait here!"
The two faeries gathered close to the man.
"Do you really think they'll send for her? Do you think she'll come?" said the first voice, which was an Ompatha'in fairy.
"Of course she will," he replied. "She'll come."

Belaparthalion glided through the night sky, his leathery wings spread across the blackness, a shadow against the infinite darkness of space. The moon cast a pallid light which did little to drive away the darkness and less against the chill of night. He travelled across the lands, occasionally passing unseen over a small, sleeping hamlet.

The sun poked her head over the distant mountains, the brilliant pink and red rays signaling to Belaparthalion that he should continue on foot. After resting a bit, of course. He landed in a small forest outside a little village, and made his way into the tavern. He ordered a drink and sat in the far corner for a while, recalling everything he knew about his target. Her name was Evelyn, and she was gifted with strategizing and planning when it came to armies and the like. The Amala Daera knew this - for she knows all - and knew the threat the young Ranareth posed to her conquest. Not that Evelyn could stop the Amala Daera, no, but she would make winning the battle much more costly.

Belaparthalion finished his ale, and left the tavern. The sun was high in the sky by now - it would soon be midday. He continued down the dirt path, knowing he would reach his destination before nightfall, and eagerly anticipated the opportunity to destroy his enemy in a manner that would be more amusing than simply destroying her quickly in secret.

Suddenly sensing that Eladda's message... and thus her mission, was even more urgent, Calyniel quickened her steps. "Are you sure you can find Kirsinari?" she asked the servant. "I can't find her anywhere."
"I'll find her." He said, without stopping or turning around.

OOC: Should he find her, will she find us, or....?

OOC: Yes, that was me... again.
