I resent I'm not being taken seriously, my exhaustive research demands respect!

Sir Prize E’ Partee

Sir Mise A’ Prob’lem

Sir Upp Pann Kakk

Perhaps they are more obscure in their knighthoods, but no less important....

You mean, might I be mistaken that Aaron Tippen (the country singer) is english and a knight?
Not the same Sir Michael wrote classical music.

Would Sir William Wallace count?

There's also Sir Loin of Beef, played by Goofy in an old Disney cartoon, from the era when those were actually funny. (A bee flew inside his suit of armor! ) Just in case we eventually resort to cartoon characters.

Was Wallace knighted? I never heard it...

Dame Agatha Christie, good one tolkienfan.

Acawalei, I don't think Tippet is a very common name even in England...check your genealogy though. Our family is related to the Motleys who fought with William Wallace, and also David Livingstone fits in there somewhere.

My own addition : Sir Thomas Browne (writer?)

I always wondered why neither Tolkien nor C.S. Lewis was knighted...

He received a knighthood by default (he was dead) in 1671 from Charles II on the occasion of the King’s visit to Norwich in 1671.
