Hantalye, I think. I think the suffix -lya means "your".

Well, I was using it as a pejoritive. I.E. Weak, pathetic, etc. But you'd be surprised what you can say in quenya.

Edit: Actually, that's not true. You'd be surprised what I can say in quenya. (wink wink)

But that would be "you thank" (the suffix here being the subject). To say "I thank you", one needs the -nyë ending, for "I":
Hantanyel, or Le hantan ("you I thank").

Btw, didn't we have an Elvish-thread somewhere? It dissapeared without anyone noticing a while ago...Time for revival?

You are insufferable! Weak, insufferable Atani! And I would not be surprised at what you would say in quenya.

So, then which is it? I'm trying to learn and I'll put this in my personal notes.

I believe what the other guy said. Hantanye le. I thank you. Can't believe I messed up on that. Oh well, I'm learning.

Now that's not very nice, is it? *Has just spent a quarter of an hour painstakingly translating it*

Well, without looking anything up... I know you are being a cad. To tell me to be gone is not very nice, (deleted curse here). And to tell me I'm a child is worse, (more deleted curses here). But I'll wait to comment more when I've translated the rest...(even more deleted curses here).

Quenya is a great language for anything but cursing.

Allright, here's something nice for a change:

Linda Ruinel, máras elyë hanya quenya.
Narlyë istimawendë, nildë.

The previous message was (as I suspected) rude...
"Be gone you, Ruinel! Even thou {word} like child! {Small or female?} do not listening this. Farewell!"
anything in {} I was not sure about. But as I posted earlier, I knew a couple of words already... Hecal and hina.

The new message (not sure if it will make up for this last one, though)...
"Fair Ruinel, good even thou understand quenya."

And as for you...
Apanóna! Vá yaiwelyen! Mern ilohta imbë me.

My first message was,

Begone, Ruinil! Thou word/speak like a child.
I will not listen to this. Farewell!

A few notes:
I did not intend to call you a child, but rather to say you speak (quenya) like one.
I'm pretty sure the word quentë isn't correctly used as a verb form. Since Quenya=Speakers then Quen=Speak?
Inyë is generally used as an intensifier. ('even I', compare Elyë 'Even thou') The proper usage requires combining the pronoun affix to a verb.

The second you translate correctly, except for a slight few places where I flubbed the grammar:

máras is the form of mára (good) with the suffix -s, indicating 'is'. So read 'it is good' {that} you understand quenya.

And then Narlyë istimawendë, nildë- You are a wise-woman, friend.

Afterborn I will not (mock/mockery, scorn) {something}. Desire. (no-War?) between us.

yaiwelyen could either mean 'Be mocked by you' or 'mock you' (lyë=affix thou/you), in which case your sentance would read:

Human, I will not mock (be mocked by?) you. Desire peace between us.

Istarnyë! Cenvandinyal? Centátanya? Istar!
Cotumolyë, Ruinil. Ilohta imbë me.
