Mayhap it behooves us to make a party. A hobbit I know has some rare bottles of a very good year. We're going to have to live with each other for a while in tight quarters since Thorondor cannot spare us his minions' wings for the sea journey. I'll bring some fine Buckland weed so we can, uhh, outdo ourselves blowing smokerings -- when we meet. Maybe I can even coax Tom and his lovely Goldberry into making an appearance for some good song.

Cyrell noted that Zarai and the others were still following him. <It is an Istari, Sirithdal he calls himself, though he looks more like a hobbit. Is he?> Cyrell paused, then addressed his question to Sirithdal himself, <Are you of the Tarrelin Lorai?> These were the friends of foxes, the only non-foxes who knew their language. The fox tongue had been taught to only two two-leggers (ever); both of those two-leggers would now be very old.

ooc: Okay, yes, a FEW would simply know the tongue without being taught, but those few would be along the lines of Tom Bombadil.

Yes, I have held converse with many animals, both four-legged and two, for I love them all -- all, that is, save the fell beasts which Sauron and Melkor breed. I bid you not look hard at the name I give myself in this age, for as you know, we do not reveal our true names. Let us just say that Sirithdal is what Sauron calls me with disgust whenever I invade his privacy, so I am more than happy to use it.

I visit Middle earth but rarely as I must divide my energies among several earths; darkness abides in many, you see. When I can, I engross myself in the Music, which is why Tom and me are such good friends. Although I am not so vigilant as Mithrandir, nor so powerful as Curunir (Saruman), nor perhaps so grand as Radagast, but I am both a wise and a hearty ally during journeys of peril. It was I who navigated the Istari's ship when first we came to Middle Earth from the West.

In Middle earth their is a creature. Little is known about it. It is one of the elves most guarded secrets. This creature is 1/2 elf, 1/2 Phoenix. It is a Seraphim, a Phoenix Lord, the last of his kind.
Long ago, at the time of the first age, Seraphims roamed the earth. They were peacemakers but also great warriors. They were elves chosen by the Phoenix to grow wings from their shoulder blades when they wanted. Then, Morgoth the 1st Dark lord drove the Phoenix to extinction! Except Spitfire which Nilore had kept secret. He had bred it from an Egg. The Seraphims were angry and rebelled against him. They failed and Morgoth imprisoned them all in the sea of Rhun, in a chamber right in the middle.
All of them except one, Nilore!
Now Nilore has gained more power and is ready to help his brothers, sisters and friends out! But how?
The Seraphims can swim but they get weaker as they stay in the water. Nilore needs a company of willing, able and noble warriors to help him it won't be an easy journey. Join the quest, if you DARE!

Thank you . I guess I got the main gist on page 1, I was just wondering if anything had changed since then. We will need the willing support of Cirdan, this much seems clear. And Ulmo, too.

I shall consult with them, if this is ok, to find out a few things. We shall need a base as near to where the Seraphim are imprisoned as possible -- an island, probably. Once we have consolidated at this point, we'll need a good plan. But first, I must journey to obtain the help we need from Cirdan, Master Shipwright, and Ulmo -- although this last may not be easy. I will have to visit Tom Bombadill and Goldberry -- especially Goldberry, as she has an excellent rapor with Ulmo. O, to be entranced by her ancient glittering eyes!

In the meantime, I should ask all of you to make ready gather what financial and other resources (magical?) you can, for the ship we shall need must be as unique and fine a ship as has ever sailed on the open sea. Of course, I cannot overemaphasize the need for secrecy in all that we do, since the enemy has many spies. The Dark One should never come to suspect the nature of our endeavor!
