What numbers? Where? *Looks around anxiously*

The good old mooting days were when brownjenkins and The Gaffer posted a lot. Hoo-ah. Them, and Beor, I wish we could see more of Beor, too.

Now for the Gaffer...
Ah Ah, I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five?' Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?

Never posted much in the film-section (except from a TTT-review), but I did (IIRC) get the part of Legolassie. Never found out what actually became of the movie, kept on waiting for my break-through for a long time.

So it goes.

Butterbeer, you're so crazy! Like I said the other day, the best way to attract an old mooter is through the threads he or she likes, and that's why I suggested bumping the Philosophy thread. I would do it myself, but I haven't thought yet of a good, new topic to bring there, and besides, I sure don't want it to be yet another religion thread. Maybe that's why I've hesitated, because it would really discourage me and dissappoint me and piss me off if I went over there and composed a thoughtful, provocative Philosophy kicker and then had the thread hijacked by a religious conversation right afterwards. I'll let someone else do the jumpstart; I am not level-headed and non-emotional enough to be able to remain unbothered by religious jibber-jabber.

I'm tellin' ya, if you bump threads that The Gaffer enjoys conversing in, he will come!

A Gaffer trap heh?

kinda like one of those crazy mice trap thingies but with Socrates thrown in too for good measure huh?

mmmm *thinks* ... the gaffer looks approx, what? 5'11"?

....we are going to need a 6 foot wide slide ... a large bell, some loop the loop counter-balancing weights ....
... some cheese ...

... and maybe a hint of Bertrand Russell on the side ....

or- maybe we lay a cunning plan trap in the UK politics thread?

i am not sure Lotsy where the philosophy threads are? Can they even in a non metaphysical sense actually be said to exist? Does this not therefore pre-suppose that we allow the principle of a logical viewpoint based primarily on an empiracal standpoint as an agreed framework for our discussion?

Here - have some cheese - it's very nice.

Well, if he doesn't turn up soon, I've got some more Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, and/or funny physicist quotes to last me for...ah...ever!
