250!

As an aside Forkbeard is doing this very chapter over in the LOTR chapter Discussion thread as we "speak": thanks to Wolfie's excellent link we can all quote him passages in support of whatever we may post there!

Best not to let on though : he'll just think a horde of Homie Experts has descended (ala SAS style from Helicopters on ropes ?) into his discussion!

Hey, you guys, I have an off-topic question but I didn't know where else to post it - Does anyone know when Arwen died, or what she did after Aragorn King Elessar finally passed away in 1541?

She went back to that mound with the little flowers on it (to tired to look it up) back in Lothlorien and faded (past on)....I think the JRRT's words were "and she was never seen again upon middle earth" or something like that.

but of course we will never know what happened after her death, one would hope that she went to aragorn outside the halls of arda, but it would be nice for elrond if she went to mandos, and from thence into the lands of the eldar in aman

My original idea was for Saruman to be head of the Natural Health Care Council. But he's dabbling in Black Magic as well.

The thing is, you guys, when I first started reading and getting into this RPG it appealed to me because of the ad-libbing, the humour, and the modernised re-interpretations of much-loved characters, but now it's just like reading the book, which I can do any old time without staring at the computer screen. No offense meant, or anything; I'm just saying...

Can you prove that?

(careful now: think about it: you may disapear in a puff of logic)

Can I prove that? Sure probably I can, but I won't; I don't want to.

well i was actually recommending not doing so in the first place, in case like God in Hitchhikers guide : you prove you or your viewpoint no longer exist!

"bugger" said God and disapeered in puff of logic:

Well, Lotesse, you're quite right, bringing in too much of the book is a too easy story-propelling method, so from now on I'll try to be more imaginative.
