Shouldn't the phase in the question be in quotes when you are looking for a quotation instead of a factual response? yes, I know... picky, picky

.....dances the jig.......waves his arms over his head......

ok you are such sterling characters that I'll go further...why I don't know

"and where now is the skill to rebuild it" referring to the gates

using the quote would have been really obscure so the paraphrase to try and help ..............boy it's hard to be nice.

to your tired brain I give the full quoted answer and award you 85% and a go for a question

"In Erebor in the Kingdom of Dain there is such skill".

This was my best effort yet and thanks for making it so.

I found your quote in seconds. Just didn't understand the question...

What did Legolas do when he first met and saw Imrahil?

"he bowed low; for he saw that here indeed was one who had elven-blood in his veins. "hail, lord!" he said. "it is long since the people of Nimrodel left the woodlands of Lorien, and yet still one may see that not all sailed from Amroth's haven west over water."

......phew...!

Pointy ears? Who, where? I don't see no pointy ears.

OK, I'll try another vague question

What land feature protected Gondor's northern approaches?
