Whenever you see something that's spelling is close to something in LotR, you have to blink a couple times to see what it really is ( I'm very guilty of that one. Anyone else have the same problem?) and is anyone says a phrase from the LotR books you start quoting from the same paragraph while they slowly edge away from you...

Don't worry. When I was seeing TT for the 7th time, I noticed a young, I mean young couple two rows in front trying to re-enact the Aragorn/Arwen scenes. I searched desperately for something to throw at them during the film. I am not seeing the TT for a while now. Grrr.

:: Pulls out invisble bow and shoots invisible arrow at wall ::

There is another, I shoot invisible arrows at humans.

I also quote LOTR while walking through forests...

a) "Get off the road!" on a trail
b) "The Bonfire Glade!" in a clearing
c) "Nazgûl!" when a plane passes
d) "Fool of a Took!" when my friend gets us lost
e) "The road goes ever on and on..." when bored

You can quote all the poems from the books, sing "The Road Goes Ever On and On", and have made up a tune to the Bath Song.

You name your fish after LOTR characters.

You are plowing through the Histories of Middle Earth.

You saw TTT 6 times by feb 7

You are going to a midnight showing of ROTK

You plan on naming any future children after lotr characters

You are going to get a lotr tattoo on your upcoming birthday (well, hopefully!)

these are some of the things I've done or whatever. I'm not all that obsessed, so sue me.

You want a LotR tattoo, but you won't get one because you can't decide what to get. Plus your parents won't let you.

You're trying to get tickets to the premiere of RotK in NYC, and succeeding...(hopefully)

Hey, I do that....

You've decided to go hiking, but you can't leave until you've found 5 short people, one wizened old man, one rugged-and-manly-looking guy with a sword, and one man with a serious jewelry fetish to come along (you're the elf).

When i am an independent adult i want every room in my new zealand house to be a different place in middle earth and i will make myself my own clothes which will be Arwenesque gowns and things like that. I will never wear a coat just a cloak.

When you're listening to music, you try to relate it to LotR in some way. I don't know about you guys, but Mornay's Dream, from Braveheart, really reminds me of FotR.

*shrugs* I don't care what people think. If they think I'm weird when I quote LOTR, that's their problem.
