Primrose now knew that she could probably snap herself out of this, as Fran had just done...but to do so, she would have to acknowledge the ring for what it was once and for all. She hesitated a moment, then accepted the burden of bearing this ring. In that instant she was free to move, though not yet restored to her own form. Primrose ran to find the others.

*I kept running until I was far enough away. Now no one can see me. But I still did not understand. I just didn't understand, then it happened...*

*When it wore off, I carefully made my way back to camp. I noticed stares from a lot of people. I still didn't understand why it happened, just a couple years after my last change. I reached up and touched my hair, noticing that the usual silkyness was gone, and looked into a mirror, noticing that my eyes where still dark underneath. When I had to change, He certantly didn't let me forget it. I heard Primrose talking to me.* <Where were you last night? Didn't you hear the fight? This wierd looking hobbit attacked the camp.> *I snapped to attention* <Did you manage to harm it?> <Well, yes, a minor scratch was all it was really, it was a very good fighter,not even Nilor or Zavron were able to do any damage to it. But I was able to get a quick bite on it's ankle before it noticed me.> *I reached down and picked up the bottom of my dress, seeing a bite mark on my ankle. Luckly no one else saw it.*

<Cyrell could have done it more harm, probably,> said Primrose. <He's more used to being four-legged. As it was he was no use at all, couldn't fight on two feet, couldn't even defend himself. He was injured pretty badly.> Primrose sighed. <I know, I know, I should talk to Lubyla. I think we'd be restored then. In fact I was on my way to do that when the strange hobbit attacked.>

ic:Finally Primrose plucked up her courage, ran to Lubyla and blurted out the true location and bearer of the ring. As soon as she did, she was restored to her natural form again; not so slowly as she had become a fox, but instantly, before Lubyla could even respond.

Primrose nodded and went to find Cyrell and his sister Zarai, who should still be here. She had never in her life disobeyed a direct command from Lubyla, even though in truth, the elf had no control over her. Why do I always seem to be in "grave danger"?
