I was thinking of doing a jump after this day in the game, putting us a week or ten days ahead in our stay at Dol Guldur. It would be more logical if we spent a while digging through Dol Guldur's underground, but I don't want to draw it out indefinitely, hence the jump. Would you guys agree, or would you prefer to just play the next day?

I'm asking specifically because it would put relationships between characters ten days ahead. So Tabrîl's and Abasi's courtship would have progressed off-screen. Aerin's condition would be improved in 10 days time, as would Abasi's and Quickleaf's wounds. (These things can be mentioned, or dealt with in flashbacks but we wouldn't write them in real time.)

So if you prefer not to jump ahead, do let me know.

You may come across Haldis and Aerin first (or the shadow martens). The others will be further in the underground.

Gonna pop in an early-morning movie now, maybe get some inspiration from something, then I might come up with something that's actually interesting and that others could work with. I'm giving no one nothing to work with and so I'm kinda just on my own quest. A'mael is trying to get me back on-board the train but in this case one leg is longer than the other so it's hard to step up. :P lol metaphors.
Well then, if you have no inspiration, we'll have to go you something to do. Next time you two will accompany Radagast and the others into the underground, and I will give you lot something to interact over.

Although it may help (this is in no way meant as criticism, please don't take it that way, it is just some advice that may help) if you write shorter posts. I know this game moves fast, so if you cut the lenght of your entries (which, I assume, take a while to compose and write), there may be a greater window of opportunity to interact with other characters. Conversation between different character flows better too in shorter posts.

For now, why don't Ingwionis and A'mael follow Ellysa and Carnehilion into the underground? They may volunteer to help find Nami. There's a good opportunity for interaction right there.

I think that sounds like a good idea! Longer posts usually do indicate an almost side-journey in a way after all. I guess it would be a little hard to talk back to a character when you have to respond to thousands of words.

Hey haven't been around to post but I'll be on later 2night, and to Sasquatch, we haven't moved much, just trying to locate Nami and Ellysa (but they don't know that Ellysa has gotten out and found help in Carnehillion)

I believe Borin, Hedrim and Quickleaf are trailing Nami (and Ellysa, but she's not lost anymore).
We can continue doing it later today

cya then

So since I last got to look, Elyssa and Nami were lost, Elyssa is not anymore. Then Elyssa got out and then went bback in with some new companions?

I'm looking at some of the newer posts now. You'll have to forgive me for spelling, but Carnehilion and Elyssa are going with Ingwionis as well as with my character A'mael according to the last posts. Also, ghosts came from behind the metal door? What are they ghosts of?

I would agree with a jump. It sounds okay to me.

A jump would be fine, we can only get lost in the dark so many times after all...

Nami might be looking for the exit here, Feawen. Looking for the exist ups her insanity level just a bit further than I think you intended.

Jumping is fine with me, I'll use a flashback then.

They're not really ghosts persay, but it is a good enough discription for someone who doesn't know what they are, since they share some characteristics with ghosts. These are marten-shaped.

Lemme give you a short summary: Ellysa, Carnehilion, A'mael and and Ingwionis have just entered the underground tunnels from outside, looking for Nami. Nami has just met up with Truor inside the tunnels. Borin, Quickleaf and Hedrim are deeper into the underground complex, approaching Nami's location, I assume. Radagast, Branwyn and Aelfwine are still deeper into the tunnels, trying to catch up with Borin, Quickleaf and Hedrim. And Haldis and Aerin seem to be somewhere in between in a side-tunnel.

Jump is no problem for Tabrîl, either. So long as Rinkë's alright with it I'm sure we can decide on whatever might have occurred between Tabrîl and Abasi offscreen via PM or something and then just make reference to it in our posts after the timeshift.

Are the ghost-marten-things heading for the exit? Obviously I'll have to give everyone actually inside time to spot them first, but just wondering if Tabrîl would see them?

I gotta say Eärniel, I'm impressed by your oversight over this RPG! We're lucky to have a mod always one step ahead and with a story

12 people in the tunnels altogether? It would be terrible if something happened to the integrity of the tunnels during that.

Well, Borin said the integrity was good, and if you can't trust a dwarf about a tunnel...

I'm glad you think so. Although I've got to say you all are a great set of players too, I wouldn't have gotten this far without you guys.

EDIT: Err, Coffeehouse, did I read that right, did you just kill off your character?

BTW, I won't be online tomorrow. Earniel, if you need to use Aelfwine to farther the storyline, go ahead. I'll be back on Monday.
