well...frodo calls Tom, and Tom takes him out...but how can you hate it when people do that? have other people done that? is that your real name or something? well...that was a spur-of-the-moment bit of insanity for me...

second part: my real name is James, and people do that mainly to annoy me, and then i get pissed off at them for a while

hmmm.... well. Frodo has the dream in which his three companions are on the ground with a sword across their necks. Then the big hand comes and i think frodo fights the hand off, although i probably am wrong, it has been a while since i last read FotR.
