Why thank you FB! I don't see people standing in line, and there will probably be other 'fill-in' opportunities for others as we go along - so if you're really willing and have the time, please go ahead and take it!

At our pace, it may be awhile before we get to your next assignment.

Hmmm... yeah, it'd be nice to get it soon, if possible. But I like to cut brownjenkins a little slack - since he already did one 'extra' assignment in place of somebody else who bailed on us.

Besides... I'm starting to fall a few chapters behind in my reading... must... catch... UP!

It was simply a totally honest inquiry about when we could expect the next chapter. I wasn't even saying anything about being over 10 days late, uh-uh, not me!

If brownjenkins does not insist of doing his chapters, I'll volunteer as stand-in. And then I'll ask for a delay for my own chapters, since I will not be able to be here much during Christmas holiday.

Artanis - if you DO take this assignment, would you want to offer your own to Mr Jenkins? Or is it something you really want to cover yourself (oh my - it's probably something to do with Lorien, isn't it??

Yes please, I'd like to do the Lórien chapters myself, they are preciousss to me.

sorry for the loooooooooong wait all... was on vacation in aruba last week and just couldn't get the assignment done before with work and vacation prep... though i should have at least given a headsup

When I said the Lórien chapters in my previous post I meant those chapters that were originally assigned to me - The Mirror of Galadriel and Farewell to Lórien. The Lothlorien chapter is still yours if you want it.
