Yes, the raft-elves are driving the rafts. They will continue with their usual business when they have ferried the company for as far as they are going in the same direction.

And Coffehouse - Radagast isn't with the company right now. He went on ahead a while ago and has organized the rafting - I expect he will be waiting where the company leaves the rafts.

Yes, we are heading for the Iron Hills - we're travelling on the river Celduin (River Running), and when it meets the river Carnen (Redwater), we'll follow that river towards the Iron Hills. Without the rafts at that time, since they are not heading there.

No worries, as Mari said, we don't do cannon fodder. We're likely to simply write your character out with a chance to come back if we don't hear from you for a very long time. But I know you and Ingwë will have less time now for RPG with the twins, so you get extra leniency.

I'm still in two minds how to proceed: get to the second river straight away, or have an encounter with a gang of thieves first. (This was an earlier throw-away suggestion in case you had met up with the raft-Elves before I got back from holiday.)

Any preference for either?

Is it the mention of royalty, perhaps? Being around Elves could be strange enough, and being around Elven Princes and Princesses might be a bit too much ...

Baru will change the topic, but she could make a mental note of Ellysa's awkwardness, and of trying to help. Should she guess about royalty being the problem, or is that too way off to be mentioned? She wouldn't say anything about it out loud.
