There are definitely roles you can still fill Legoles, Hector will help you on that one.

I think it's cool to have a choir, it goes with my appreciation of original movie music!

Okay, I guess we won't have any choir music.

Yea! Someone wants to be Casting Director! But I won't speak for Hector on this one, that can be dangerous. (See above.)

Well that's a relief about your yelling, I thought you were violently opposed to choirs.

Nasty. Maybe we'll film Mordor wasteland scenes there. Not at the nuclear waste site though.

Are there still positions open?
I'm willing to do:
Acting
Script editing
Assistent Directing of any sort
And if you choose to film in B.C then just come south to seattle where I can lead you to a whole community of actors who love LotR.

Hey, that's another great reason to film in this part of the world. Mt. St. Helen's could be Mt. Doom, and we could use the actual footage of it erupting for that part.

Check it out:
http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/mshnvm/

It could be filmed in Washington and BC! What do you think guys?

I think maybe on Hawaii for Mount doom, it needs to be more fiery while mount St. Helens was more smoke & ash. And the volcanoes in hawaii are still erupting!

i think thats a great idea. of course i'm not an expert of locations, so anyplace someone chooses is better that what i would choose.

p.s. dont forget to remind me if i need to add anyone to the crew list. i have a feeling i forgot someone, and i dont want to wake up dead one day because of someone's silent anger....

Take down names for what positions Hector?

I agree, Hawaii is the best of our practical options. (We could go to Sertzy (sp?), but that would be so hard.)

Hawaii would be good for Mt. Doom, but it doen't have a Caradhras, there's no snow.

Well, we need a volcano for Orodruin, but the rest of the movie can be filmed in England or BC or whatever we decide.

*sigh* we need to seriously start looking for a cast.

i think it'd be great to have christopher lee as saruman again, if he wanted to take the role again that is. plus i think he'd support a truer version........

I agree with you, and I think Christopher Lee is an excellent actor, and played Saruman extremely well.

One small problem, is we would have to put a great deal of effort into making him not look a thing like Peter Jackson's Saruman. We can't copy, or seem as though we are.

Elements that we could include that would make him be different would be:
Saruman of many colours
A complete story arc, including Gandalf's confrontation with him at Orthanc, Wormtongue throwing the Palantir, and in RotK, Merry and co. meeting him on the road to the Shire.
His robes, beard, and staff could all be different.

But even so, people might see him as "that guy who was in Peter Jackson's movie." We should avoid having this ever.

I think we should find actors who have never been in any big movies before.
