Church is a nice peaceful environment (usually). It'd be even cooler to have mass outside during summer time! If God's everywhere, he shouldn't just be at Church, he should be outside once in a while too!

Thanks for the best wishes! Our first Christmas together as a family is not going to be a White Christmas, but I don't mind that. I hope that winter disappears quickly. Winter's much too dark.

And the talking probably won't happen for at least a year, give or take... if you surround your kids with people talking (although probably not tv), they will learn faster. That's the kind of Christmas we're getting here. Yea, we've started reading to the kids already, but mostly Tolkien stuff, probably will move on to Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia; a lot of good reading there.

The name for the girl was selected out of a list of 15 other names, such as Mary, Arwen (no kidding), Shanoa (from the Castlevania game), Liz, Kelly, Erin, and some others. The name for the boy was selected out of a list of a few other names, including David, Stephen, Michael, Luke, etc.

I think the best choices were made, but I liked the name Erin a lot for the girl. Still, I agree with my wife that the best choices were made, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Even though I'm still a young guy and not married, I find the subject of baby names to be very fascinating. I've always been partial to the less-known-but-not-crazy names. One of my nephews for instance is named Brendan (though people sometimes think it is Brandon).

Coincidentally a friend of mine is named Erin

. I like that name was well.
