I never thought of it that way. How perfect must one be to never even misstep? It does not seem to be a sin to stub your toe... Perhaps, though, if the Fall of Man had never happened here, we would never have to stub our toes. At the risk of sounding slightly ... flippant... However, perhaps along with death, another of the wages of sin is toe-stubs.

The green skin was Lewis's idea. Though Middle-Earth is riddled with different races, they are all about the same color. And your skin colors will be just as much of a shock for my twins.

As to them creating legends... I'm hoping they can meet up with someone trustworthy who I don't have to play. They'll have to learn about clothes, etc. from somebody, and I really feel their arrival will be much more fun to write if shared with someone else. But if they hang around Middle-Earth a while before meeting the investigators, that's fine. Sounds like a dandy intro for your Hobbit, Earn, if you don't already have something planned for him (if you do, I promise I won't be offended...).
