harrypotter

hey, ive read all 4 harry potter books and i seriously recommend it too all tolkien fans cos its good and ud enjoy it, the movie doesnt do it justice though cos it left bits out, unlike the fellowship of the rings movie. check them out

I never got into Harry Potter. I read the first one and found it too childish. My sister read all the books and says "but you didn't read the fourth one!!" The first book didn't catch my attention enough to force my way through three more. I'm sorry, but Tolkien created an entire world with languages and histories and races of elves and orcs and dwarves and such. It seems that the author of the Potter books (I forget her name right now) didn't spend nearly as much time on her's, which is why I think it reads too much like a children's bed-time story.
