Music in Star Wars

Does anyone have anything to say about the music in Star Wars by John Williams?

I played some in my high school band; Its great music. I love Princess Leia's Theme (because of its oboe/english horn solos, of course!).

I have always loved the music of Star Wars
I own the soundtrack to each movie so far.
My favorite by far is the Empire Strikes Back soundtrack.

I'm quite fond of the Imperial March. Very foreboding. But I also like Padmé and Anakin's theme in Attack of the Clones.

I was at a wedding once... I think about 7 years ago. There was lots of classical music throughout. The program listed something called 'Throne Room' for the recessional... the part where the new husband and wife walk away from the front after the ceremony is over.

Sounded like it would be a grand old piece of music.

Now imagine everyone's surprise when it turns out it's the music from the end of the first Star Wars movie (uh... lessee, that'd make it episode 4, right? ) where the heroes come forward to get their medals from Princess Leia! Ha... it was hilarious! Apparently the bride and groom were big Star Wars fans. They even had a 'Bobba Fet' thingee (what do you call those life-size, cardboard things that are used for displays or for taking pictures with?) at the reception.

I love the Star Wars music, I've got all the soundtracks. The best is The Empire Strikes back. The Imperial March is one of my favourite themes along with "The Duel of the Fates" from Episode I.

I have to say that I love anything by John Williams. He's a stellar composer. I have the Indiana Jones theme on my phone. ET was great, as was AI, not to mention all the other pieces he wrote. Sheesh. He does so much with just 8 notes.
