Reading Feist?

Who has read or is reading books of Feist? I'm collecting them all, and the Riftwar Saga is a superstory.

I must say that Feist is almost as good as Tolkien...

Re: Reading Feist?

I've read the entire Riftwar saga, plus the Serpentwar saga. They're very good. How far have you gotten?

I never read the ones written with Janny Wurts though. Btw, this topic is more appropriate in the "Fantasy and Sci-Fi Novels" forum, so that's where it is now

Re: Reading Feist?

I'm now finished with the third book of the serpentwar saga. I have to wait for the 4th book till august, because it isn't released yet...

I'm going to read the empire trilogy.

Re: Reading Feist?

Really? The fourth book has been out for months, if not years, here in the U.S. Perhaps the release schedule is different in Europe.

Re: Reading Feist?

In Sweden I think they have published the first translated part of the Serpentwar Saga. The release schedule is probably delayed because the books are translated. The English and American editions are available but only in larger bookstores or in the libraries. From what I´ve seen it appears to be the same in other European countries.

Hey everybody!

I absolutely love his books, even though I am only on Silverthorn...

Re: Reading Feist?

i liked the original books in the riftwar saga a lot...even the little offshoots he wrote later (i.e. prince of the blood and etc.). i don't much like the serpeant war saga much though. 'cept for the first in the series, his writing seems lackluster here somehow.

Re: Reading Feist?

Nice to see you here again jmp

Personally I liked the Serpentwar the same as the originals, maybe even better. I couldn't put those books down. I think I read Rage of a Demon King in one day.

Re: Reading Feist?

hey again too.

'cept for the big death scene of you-know-who in rage, i kinda skimmed through the rest.

what i wanna know is: what in the world happened to jimmy's four daughters?? i mention of them, and then, bam, they're gone.
