Everyone seemed to be talking above Rorin. He was rather used to it by now and was content to listen to various conversations. His ear prickled at the sound of a quest. "If you do attempt to find this tower, you might need a Dwarf in your company. Might I join too?"

Nienna and Tarì quietly approached the group. Hearing something about a tower, Nienna stepped forward. "Forgive if I am wrong, but are all of you also looking for the Towers?" At the sound of her voice, many heads turned to face the two of them.

DeathShadow's next target's had now been made clear to him. The ones who knew where the Tower's lay hidden needed to be aliminated. (Sound like Terminator!

) I sprang from my tree silently to get a better look at the one who he had stabbed. He sent out his thought.
"Kill the one who you follow. Kill the vampire. Stab him with this knife." He summoned a black knife which glistened in the moonlight. It hovered before the girl who was now under his complete control. As she walked slowly up to his prey he put a magical shield around the rest of the group apart from her
and his prey, so that no one could interfere with them.

"Come Dusk" called Siren as the others got ready to leave. All of a sudden, she felt the same, alien feeling in her mind-only much stronger. No! I know what you're doing, it won't work on me! she thought. She heard something that sounded like wicked laughter, then a black knife appeared before her. An invisible force willed her to take it. Kill the one you follow. Kill the vampire. Stab her with this knife. someone, she knew who, spoke. She turned to Awinnien and slowly advanced on her. An barrier seemed to grow up around them, so the others had no way of getting to them. All she had to do now was raise the knife...
