Who likes Terry Pratchet?

I am surprised that, even though my beloved Terry sells 1/10th of all the Sci-Fi books in the UK, I have only ever met one other fan. I am setting up this post to see how many true fans there are.
If you are a TRUE fan, please answer this question:
What is Vimes' full title?

Count Vimes of Ankh Mor-Pork, right? Not sure, some time since I read a Vimes-book.

There's already a thread on Pratchett further down this site, you'll see that you're not alone. I'm a big fan of Pratchett, read most of the Discworld-books.

One, that's not his full title (Read The Fifth Elephant and Nightwatch )
Two, what's this other Pratchett thread?

1) Read both, but I don't remember every detail.
2) Thought there was a newer one, but only found: http://entmoot.tolkientrail.com/show...ight=Pratchett ...strange...

yeah, i like pratchett ... have based the watch in nazgul and kings RPG loosely around Vimes and Co ...

was also intending Old mrs W (the widow) to be a mix of granny weatherwax and nanny Ogg ... but as she stood in for story purposes to be a society reporter some major characters took against her ... which is a shame .. she is currently very ill, possibly dying .... which reminds me ...

A friend is working with his daughter on a story-line for a game currently apparently...

who are your favorite characters?

I've only read one of his books -- Truckers. It was awesome, so I will certainly read its sequels one of these days.

...

I was on a Pratchett kick a while back and read about 20 of his books. I have to say they're hit and miss. Some are incredibly funny, even intelligent and insightful, but there are a lot of them that are horribly bad. Some of my favorites (and I haven't read any published in the past 3-4 years) the Guards, Guards!, Small Gods, Pyramids, Feet of Clay, Reaper Man, Soul Music. I am not a fan of the Rincewind books at all, which is strange because Rincewind started the Discworld books (I read those too, and several more, but found them annoying). The Vimes, Carrot, Angua, Nobs, etc, books are the best. So, yes there is another Pratchett fan out there, but not a complete fan.
Oh, I did enjoy Good Omens which Pratchett wrote with Gaiman.
