Signature problems i e staying below 500 ch

A function counting the number of characters in the sig during the editing of it would be a terrific addition. Is it possible? Glad to know.

Indeed!...in fact, I think it's a bit much to count individual spaces as "characters"... ...Talk about tough, and yet other people's sigs seem bigger than I can get mine...

When a sig gets too big, I get to not really noticing it anymore. It doesn't really have an impact.

Well, has the reduction of my sig made it easier to read then?

You may note, I took the hint too. Sorry, Shee.

Although the word counting function may not be present in this site, you can type your signature in MS Word or a similar word processor and use its character counter for your purposes.

I figured this was the place to ask. How do you get a signature? I thought it might come with a post count or something like that, but I have seen people with fewer posts than me with them.

Go to the top of the page, look at the box with all the menus, on the left on the green bar there's one called 'user CP'. Click on that, and then go to the long, small box on the left that is called 'control panel'. One of the first things you come across is 'edit signature'. That's the one you need.
