King Arthur
Does anyone else here enjoy Arthurian Legend books? I do. I saw a Gawain and the Green Knight. Tell some favorites so i can read them and favorite knights.

..my weakness, I've an "alert on Amazon and B & N" for anything with Merlin or Arthur when published. Years ago I reasearched them for over three years and planned and executed my quest in the UK, Cornwall area. I got very positive physci feedback and the three week investigation, for me, was confirming, illuminating and satisfying.

I love almost anything featuring swords and knights and damsels in distress. I suppose it sprang from a love of poetry; I've loved Tennyson's poem The Lady of Shalott for-almost-ever. I found a book with this poem in it along with some of Tennyson's Idylls of the King. If you like poetry at all, I would definitely recommend the Idylls. Terriffic stuff on Arthurian legends and based upon Sir Thomas Mallory's Morte d'Arthur.

Another year's gone by, and I was thinking once again, How can I take this losing hand and somehow win? Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground. I've been chasing grace; Grace ain't so easily found One bad hand can devil a man, chase him and carry him down. I've got to get out of here, just give me One Good Year! |

Indeed, Rosie, I am familiar with all those. They're great, IMO.

Since we have such Arthurian enjoyment obvious here, would any of you care to comment on the Arthurian themes and usages in Harry Potter by JK Rowling?

Well it would fall under this title but perhaps a new thread might make the subject matter more clear. If you want to start another thread, go ahead, then let me know and I'll close this one.
