Japanese English subtitles
The Lord of the Rings movies were translated into Japanese a while ago. Then the Japanese gave them English subtitles.
Has anyone else ever found that site that shows screenshots of these subtitles? I can't remember where this was, and so once someone comes up with a site we can finish discussing it here.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I think this was discussed in another thread (in the Movies forum). Possibly the Quotes in Different Languages one. Maybe someone could help you there.

You might want to run a search for "engrish" in the movies forum. Someone posted a link to it, but I'm not sure what it was.
Hmm, I went to find it for you, but it looks like they had to take it down.

Actually, "Engrish" is what some people on the Internet really call mangled English. I've also heard "Japlish" used every now and then...
I'll try to dig that site up. In the meantime, I'm moving this to the proper forum.
