Gollum How much revenue...

I was wondering if anybody knows how much money The Fellowship of the Ring (preferably not all three of them together) BOOK (not film) has made? I have searched everywhere I can think of, but with no success. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful....

I only know that it was the second most successful book (LotR) of the 20th century.

I don't think so; in the paper I saw few weeks ago, the most sold books were the Bible and a strange bok from China. since the gov in China said that every chinese have to have that book... you can figure why this book is so widespread.

If it was a few weeks ago that would be the 21st century.

I heard that the diary of Anne Frank was the second most sold book of the 20th century, the only book selling more copies being the Bible. I'm probably wrong, though. I hope I am, because I'd like LotR to be second. Someone please come and correct me.

Anne Frank was born in German. But she wrote the book in Netherlands. I think that her father published it in Nehterlands too - that's why it's a Dutch book.

Oh, thanks for that information. I read the book. In which language did she write it?

I really don't know. But it translated to many languages. I read it in Hebrew. I'm pretty sure she didn't write it in Hebrew... I think she wrote it in German. Just because it makes sence.
