Istari?
Hey, if someone could give me the names of all the known Istari that would be great. (please list all possible names if an Istari has more than one name)

Above the thread is a green bar. Search function = 3rd from right. Choose "Advanced Search," "Search by Keyword," Keyword = Istari, use the drop down menu to change "Search Entire Posts" to "Search Titles Only," let us know, afterwards, if there's anything else about the Istari you need to know.

I can get you started: Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast, Blue 1, Blue 2.
That's all of them in one language. I'm sure someone around here will know their Elvish and Dwarvish names. |

Blue 1 and Blue 2 were called Allatar and Pallando. However there are alternative names that Tolkien has devised for them in a later work - I don't remember them right away.

Thanks. I have to apologize, I think. I referred to you as "he" several times in the past on that other site, I think. My bad.

And, of course, Gandalf is the Maia Olórin...
EDIT: And I, of course, am a She-Son of Fëanor. Hmm. That doesn't work as well.

It doesn't, Curu!
Does that make me a She-Son of Finarfin? On-topic, just a couple more names for the collection: Radagast was known as Aiwendil in Quenya. Saruman was Curumo. Alatar and Pallando were also called Morinehtar (Darkness-slayer) and Rómestámo (East-helper)
