Does my own language have an overly obvious Elven-sound?

I'm creating an own language right now, and while I'm satisfied with the way it sounds, I'm afraid it's a bit TOO Elvish; it sort of resembles a mix between Latin and Sindarin.
I've been working on some simple words and grammar rules, commonly using the word "talk" (cu-), and here's how it sounds:

yes = yo
no = nyo
hunger = cuarmo
thirst = cualmo
I will tell you = aian cuentarore
We are camping = oior taicarorie
I was going to talk to (all of) you = aiaren cuernarore
you don't speak? = nan cuarare?
I don't speak = nan cuarore

And so on.
Am I plagiarizing, or will I do fine?
