Is this a thread made out of boredom?

I don't think so...It was suggested by someone that it should be made into a thread. It was originally going to be in the Teacup Cafe, but it needed it's own thread to avoid confusion. That's what I got out of the conversation...

Sir Grey (recognised as a knight by all but Hector ... but he's a president so probably a republican anyway (as against a monarchist that is - and therefore probably against the honours system ... Sir grey for 1001 knights!)

i digress ... Sir Grey ... this game could do with some ...er... description or rules or something, mate! Just a little something to go on?

how about a fuller description of what your new game entails ...

best BB

So, this is how I see it: Make a post here, choosing One (1) Subject to talk about, and us 4 judges will give ratings of 1 to 10 to the posts we see presented here, 1 being utterly dismal and on through up to 10 being brilliantly outstanding, on the criteria of: Eloquence, Length of Post (this doesn't mean 'long is good,' necessarily, at ALL!!), and Use of Posting Functions (i.e. smilies/frownies, bold type, putting links & pics, stuff like that.)

Anybody up for it? I sure am. Let the games begin!

I am, but not yet...I might never be up to it, because I really only have an hour or so from the time I get home to the time I go to bed.

inane, as in: asinine, fatuous, mindless, vacuous, silly, absurd, cuckoo, empty, foolish, idiotic, meaningless, nonsensical, pointless, ridiculous, senseless, simple...

Well, frankly, Spock, it looks as if it is a total failure, as no one has the guts to even attempt to play!

This is interesting. And rather confusing.

...so, could I just fish out an old essay and throw it up?

Oh, my GOD, the excuses should be in themselves the entries in the game!!!... Grey Wolf, I'm afraid no one has the guts to play this game you invented. Ah, well. You should invent a game of "Who's got the best excuse?"
