Any other Rock Climbers out there?

Okay, are there any other rock climbers that post on the 'Moot? If there are, respond here and we'll start the official Entmoot rock climbing club!(okay, that's sounds weird, but we could try anyway!)

Yes!! Hiya. If you read the 'your sig' I told you some stuff. but yeah I have been climbing for about 11yrs. I have been competing in various competitions for nearly 8. I climb indoors and outdoors. when indoors its mainly in London. I climb outdoors in the lake district and Wales. I love climbing. I cant believe there is another climbing mooter!

I've climbed a bit, not lots, and not really very often. From the few times I've gone, though, I loved it! Very fun sport.

i'm not a rock climber although i've always thought it's really cool. if i wasn't so afraid of falling from that high i think it'd be fun. i did repell (spl?) from a 30 foot rock or wall or something. and i climbed on one of those things that keep moving as you climb.

I just started Rock Climbing a little a few months ago. Ive gone to the indoor things a couple times but its mostly been in Canada with my dad!

Very scary stuff, but really fun.

Awesome! I really didn't think that there'd be any other rock climbing Mooters out there. So.. should we start an Entmoot rock climbing club, or is that just to weird?

I love rock-climbing... I go every summer at my Gramma's house! I just had a rock climbing b-day party! Very fun!

I dont compete in rock climbing, but i do both indoor and outdoor rock climbing. in the summer i rock climb or repell with this camp i go to. just this past summer i repelled down a 90ft cliff which was awesome!

so there are rockclimbing mooters. anyone been caving? (other than those of you who went with GS) thats also great fun

been hiding on top of very tall cliffs, and in dark caves with lots of cold water. (when i say cold water i mean cold water. really cold water)

My friend's brother and sister are totally into rock climbing, and last year they went to Thiland and Australia for about 6 months, just to climb! They had so much fun there.

Is repelling abseiling?

You guys should try competitions. They are great fun and you can win climbing gear. and competitions are a great way to make new friends that can also be climbing buddies.

Yep! You know the drill... put the rope in the figure eight(or belay device) and walk down the cliff.

any way, someone asked how to spell repell. (that was the wrong spelling)

REPPEL (thats the right spelling)

i always thought it was with one p and two l's. guess i was wrong.

i collect carabiners (not the ones used for rock climbing or reppeling) am i just messed up or do other people collect them too?

(other than eowyngirl14. you do realize that one day the carabiners on your backpack will be gone because i wouldhave taken them?) (ps u left your lotr assignment notebook at my house) (hehe)

when may (the month with Legolas's picture in it) comes, and that Legolas picture is missing... ( the one with Legolas in it...) heads will roll... a.k.a. your and laura's! My carabiners are cool!@ remind me to put them on my shoes before Camp Jewel!
