I read this trilogy some time back. They were a good read, but I wasn't inspired to read any more of his books. One has to not mind somewhat graphic sex scenes in these books, such as a gang rape by Blackfeet Indians of a Sioux girl, or the escapades of that freewheeling tart whatshername.
