What does Sauron do all day?

Did you ever wonder that? Its a strange thing to think about, isn't it? I mean, when he isn't planning his invasions, and sending Orc legions to their dooms, what is he doing? Does he just sit up there in Barad-dur brooding? That must be a little boring, even for a Maia. So, what does Sauron do all day?

i think he uses the Palantir to watch Star Wars and learn from Vader and the Emperor

And he probably keeps a slave or two around to torture when he doesn't know what else to do.

Maybe he plays chess with the Lieutenant of Barad-dur (who of course has to let da boss man win)...

how about using the palantir to search for the one ring ???

He might not have that much time left from the orcs and other creatures. It seems that he controls them (at least in battle) and would have to keep doing so. (see the battle at the Gate (LOTR) when he dies)

i agree with finduilas didn't his will have to be with his armies almost the whole time?

And when not with his army
he look for the RING

I believe he sits around and writes screenplays for Kevin Costner movies...what better way to torture us long after he is gone.....

And when he doesn't know what else to do he sits around and listens to his children sing. He has lots of them: Brittany, Celine, Christina, the Spice Girls, 'N Sync, the Backstreet Boys.... It just goes on and on.

Maybe he plays role-playing games. Or write books like "the Keraethon Cycle".

Nah, he runs a certain monopolistic software company...
